I am having fun playing!
Now if someone on the forum could point me in the right direction I would be thankful.
I kicked Jan out of the party & he said he was going back home if we needed him again and I do. When I go to his home he is not there. when looking at the save game i see this:
It seems to show that he should be there AR0401 is the right area. I get the turnip golem encounter. Is there something I could edit to make sure he shows up?

All I can think of is to check the .cre and make sure he's not running a script that is inactivating him under certain conditions or something like that.

Jaheira has left for the Harpers Hold and I have tried sleeping outdoors and she does not return. Seems to be a bug. Is there a fix or does someone know command to trigger this event?

There is a timer for Jaheira to return, so if you rest immediately after she left, she will not return immediately.
You can try
SetGlobal("JaheiraReturn","GLOBAL",0) AND SetGlobal("JaheiraReturns","GLOBAL",0) and then rest your party.
If this does not help, then something is blocking the script in baldur.bcs. This can be solved by copying the code in spoiler above to the very top of baldur.bcs and then rest the party.

Maybe you should post the baldur.bcs here for someone to look at. If there is really some bad code in that script it may have a lot of other effects throughout your game.

Our installs are too different. the items must be from a mod I have not installed. On the other hand this is probably the reason why Jan was there when I loaded your save in my game.
I could not repair your save because I could not identify all the effects from some unknown mod that Jan had. Just removing them might have broken something.

If my assumption is correct, the error would be that one of the .cre's doesn't have correct dimensions in their avatar. Aka do you have Infinity Animations mod installed ? On a 1252 Windows based code language...
