The mods uploaded in the "Miscellaneous Mod" and "BG:EE Mods" sections are not officiall SHS mods. Ask the author. If they are no longer reachable the mod could be treated as a "mod recovery" which is a grey area that assumes that no modder would be against technical updates of their mods.

Assumed so which is why I only posted a diff which can be applied clientside (with the necessary know-how). I do have a local not-even-uploaded-as-a-GH-private repo set up from the mod already incase we get an approval to do technical updates but until that point, I'd only use that repo for diff generation for bugfixes.

The most recent mod-related Beamdog post from the author is from October 2016 which read regarding EET:
"...Generally my mod should work for any modern game-version (not PST, or the old BG1 or IWD). One possible wild-card is that area-codes vary a lot (BGT uses different BG1 area codes than BGEE, for example). Once EET gets an official stable release, I'll address any remaining problems..."
Klatu intended to include EET compatibility, but mentioned this when EET was in its infancy. His most recent post in this thread is from August 2017. His most recent Beamdog comment is from October 2017. I have a strong suspicion Klatu isn't coming back to the Infinity Engine modding community any time soon. It's also publicly-stated authorial intent to make this mod EET compatible.
Thus, what say you to adding this to the SHS GitHub repo?

As for publicly hosting technical updates on GH, what about on Graion Dilach's GitHub with proper credit given to its authors? The only example I've seen in the BG community of an author specifically not wanting his mod to be updated is Goo the NPC. Even elminster's Eve of War mod which was held unfinished on the author's side for years was recently publicly released for the public to mod and finish - though with the author's encouragement - in part because I asked for it.
Thus, what say you?

If anyone is maintaining this: Klatu's component 2030, identify all store items, should exclude cursed items purposefully sold in an ambiguous manner - like Lucky Aello's Discount Store in BG1 selling cursed prot scrolls.
