I am *very* new to modding, and i am currently trying to use the NearInfinity editor, but have issues with the basics: such as how to actualy open files and open the games successfully. The nearInfinity website seems overly vague in some of its instructions so i was wondering if anyone knowledgable could advise me?

To open the game files, you just start the program and if it's not in the games directory, then you just use: Game -> Open Game... -> And then find the "chitin.key" -file you game has, this will associate the game files and let you open them in the "file browser".
Then you just select the file you wish to edit and ta-daa.
Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.
