Well, this mod caused the game to crash every time I entered the central BG city area so I uninstalled it, now it's crashing every time I try to go anywhere outside the city. I guess I'll have to reinstall it to keep playing, strange mod you have here.

I would look elsewhere for the problem. If you've installed any mods that change area scripts and then installed BG Graphics Overhaul then that's your problem. This needs to be installed as soon as possible after the initial installation - the readme does say so.
