So, I've installed the Faren mod a while ago on BG2EE, and he seemed to work fine. I could not initiate dialogue with him and he pretty much ignored my character, but I didn't think much of it at the time.
Several quests later this started to bother me, especially because I wanted to try his romance too, so I checked his variable (FHFarenRomanceActive) and it says it's set on 3. I tried changing it to 1 or 2, but it always switches immediately back to 3 without me doing ANYTHING about it. I tried reloading to a previous file when I still didn't have him, and even there, as soon as he joined my group, his variable was already set to 3.
I'm pretty sure I haven't touched anything, I just changed the picture, so I have no ideas what might be causing this 
Any ideas?
