after 42 hours of installation of the BiG World "Tactics version" it's finally done and man was it worth the time? I must tell....I finally decided to trash BGEE1&2 (but might come back for it later). every bit of mod I'm lovin it (although it may still not perfect) and man I'm thanking all of the modders of Baldur's Gate...well, what can you expect after 15 years right? Pure awesomeness!

I'd like to see your weidu.log file, to see what all you've installed, just out of curiosity. I'm about to begin a manual install of BG2 to test some mods I've collected that I haven't tried yet, following an install order approach that I find to be closest to stable on my system. The process is sure to take over a week to complete, but as you stated, the results will be well worth it, if everything performs as it should *fingers crossed*.

Good luck to you Eric.

There is nothing more frustrating than discovering a game-breaking bug in a fresh installation.. and that's with using the BWS..

Very true, and thanks, Ulb! I've been at this for...what...seven years or so? My experimental installs have always failed, and my stable play installation could never have been achieved if I followed BWP's scheme to the letter.

Things will probably become even more interesting when I receive my next computer system, which will be a Mac Pro running Mavericks, and attempt to install BG2 on there.

Ugh...I didn't realize this was an EE installation. Also, I notice that the install order doesn't follow BWP instructions strictly, which surprises me. BGEFanatic, I hope it will work well for you!

No it's not Enhanced Edition. It's the old BG1 & BG2 with BGT. Yes, the mega-mods works with few minor bugs. But dunno if it can last for the long run and hopefully wouldn't encounter possible bugs letting me not finishing up the game.

It's a BWS install, it has updates far more frequently because it can be updated more. The thing that shows that is the ~SETUP-BWS.TP2~ #0 #0 // 20140619 - Updated by Silent -"mod" at the start, it actually doesn't install a thing, but whatever. It's there more for show...

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.
