16th install. No dice. I tried starting a new game after 1PP install, worked fine. Finished the installation - crash.

Maybe stupid suggestion and you already tried it, but how about you start a new game after every mod, so you can narrow it down to culprit.

 

Yep, that's my plan for next install. I'm going to pick this up again, but I'm pretty tired of reinstalling twenty times now, so I'm giving it a rest for just a bit.

So, to conclude this thread, :devil: if say the thread continues in G3 still :devil: , one of the Level 1 NPCs mods component is the crash failure causing modification, it's probably due to the fact that the modified creature is already partially broken by something else, anyways the crefixer can be used to removes the failure by fixing the creature.
