Dunno, if this is the right section for this topic.

 

I was about to get back to BG1 & 2 after years as I had discovered through reddit that there is a possibility to play them as 1 complete game through modding. So I got the BWS but not everything went so smoothly. I can't download any of the mods that are at pocketplane.net. The download starts, but the speed is less than 1kb/s and it disconnects automatically after some minutes. I tried to search for alternate mirrors for the files, but can't seem to find any for some of the better mods I consider must have for this play through. I'm still waiting to get access to their forum to ask directly but I'm too anxious to get to the game so I thought to look here for help. So if anyone knows any alternate mirrors for mods that are hosted at pocketplane.net or could upload them temporarily for my pleasure, I would be most grateful . The essential ones being Unfinished Business for both 1 & 2. Any other mods from their site would be nice, but doesn't really matter.

I have uploaded the BG1UBv13 and UBv23 mods, this is so as there could be that there's something off with the domains between you and their network, notify me after downloading those files as I wish to take them down...

EDIT: and now they are offline... you need to request them in this thread, I am willing to upload them again, but only to a separate requests. As I don't intent to be the primary upload site.

We've filed a question with the PPG server host about these issues, which I know are affecting a minority of visitors. Because we can't replicate them, it's difficult to know exactly how to combat it. We'll update people when we know more, in the meantime, please bear with us.
