I am trying to install IA with BG1 EasyTutu so I can get the original BG1 paperdolls back. I have a save game at the beginning of Cloakwood that I would like to patch, but doing so causes the paperdolls to become clipped:
Notice the shield on the paperdoll is still using the BG2 sprite, but it is missing a big chunk near the middle-bottom of the shield.
These are the steps I followed:
1. Download IA Core Mod, copy setup-infinityanimations.exe and infinityanimations folder to C:/Games/Baldur's Gate Tutu
2. Download Base Content, extract all .bam files (NOT full path names) to C:/Games/Baldur's Gate Tutu/infinityanimations/content
Just to be clear, at this point my install folder looks like this:
Baldur's Gate Tutu
infinityanimations
content
wplfsa1.bam
wplfsa1e.bam
wplfsa3.bam
etc...
setup-infinityanimations.exe
There are no subfolders in content.
3. Run setup-infinityanimations.exe with these options:
- Install all components that are not yet installed
- Install BG1 animations for NPCs: Most relevant creatures
- Install BG1 animations for exported PCs: Patch all PCs without prompting
- Install BG1 animations for saved games: Patch all characters without prompting; Answer "Yes" to all save files
- Install saved game animation fixer: Correct all animations IA has changed; Answer "Yes" to all save files
Result:
SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Infinity Animations SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Humanoid Animation Fixes SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Most relevant creatures SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Creature References SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Patch all PCs without prompting SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Patch all characters without prompting SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Correct all animations IA has changed
What part am I doing wrong? Or do I misunderstand the purpose of the mod?
