I have confirmation from K'aeloree that updating Darian to be compatible with BG2EE is now being worked on, and will confirm once finished.

One addendum: I've been looking at what some of the content related to the new NPCs involves and from what I currently know, it is very likely that Darian will attack at least one of the new characters when I add interactions between Darian and the EE crew. I do not have a timetable for doing so at this time, however.
Edit: A more full explanation is that Darian is almost certainly going to attack Hexxat, no questions asked nor quarter given. As for Dorn - apathetic though he might be about land-bound affairs, from what I understand Dorn has a sidequest involving the Order of the Radiant Heart, and that it will make Darian leave the party for good at minimum. Neera and the monk, he'll likely regard as nuisances at most.

Made a further addendum to my previous post. Darian cares little for the affairs of humans, but even he has limits on what he'll tolerate.
