Hi everyone,

 

i'm in village (difficult name ) with the tanari'i  right now. got the key for the demon (drunk both potions - but traps still worked - but it's another story) and here'e the thing:

- if i go talk with the demon alone (party stays downstairs), the demon talks about four demons, pc says something about ruling some place and that's it, dialogue ends

9noting about hold and carravan - no journal and map updates)

- but if the entire party goes upstairs (i have edwin in the party), than after the "ruling some place" line edwin says something i don't recall and the demon continues talking

about cerrendor hold and carravan (map and journal update) 

 

what would happen with the updates if i had edwin not in the party?

 

edit: the same happens while talking to alioth. the dialogue isn't completed if edwin stays away from the conversation.

Which version do you have installed? Edwin is not necessary - that's just an NPC interjection - but there were some bugs in the conversation with the demon. First I've heard about a problem with Ailoth Tam though.

i'm on the v 2.6

 

edwin is in the party, but i'm going upstairs alone. than the dialogue doesn't continue. if i take the party with me edwin interrupts and the dialogue goes on with tanari'i talkin about the lotus and the hold.

same thing happens when i'm talking to the young wizard in the hold

 

...strange.

Can you post a savegame? If you don't have a canon party can you drop the mod NPCs before saving the game please.
