I wiped my BGEE and BG2EE folders I was using completely and copied them over fresh from my Steam folder and now the install progressed past EET-Core. Good to know.
Until now, there is no evidence that v2.5 requires changes to EET or any other mods. According to my knowledge and testing the upgrade should not cause issues. But the devil may be in the detail.

So I just tried an install of most everything available in BWS currently on the 2.5 beta. The following four failed:
Mod: Might and Guile
Component: Add Multiclass Kits
Component: The Feat System (for Warriors and Rogues, requires EE 2.0+, includes Revised Stalker and Shadowdancer, disables Scout kit)
Mod: Item Randomiser
Component: Prevent Watcher's Keep statues from disappearing (in case randomisation gave them something)
Mod: EET (Enhanced Edition Trilogy) Tweaks
Component: NPC voices
Mod: Sandrah Saga I - Sandrah Appears
Component: Sandrah EET additions
Of those, Might and Guile seems to conflct when installed with other mods adding kits. I will try to look through and see what the conflict is. The Item Randomizer component outright said some other mod apparently already provided that tweak. I'm not sure why NPC Voices failed in EET Tweaks and will have to look at the log file. The Sandrah failure I think I've seen before. If it thinks Might and Guile is installed, but it isn't really, that causes problems. I don't need Might and Guile. I'm just testing these literally for the sake of testing them. I'll try a new install in a bit.

I am just guessing here based on the information above. Sandrah does not check for M+G, nor is it dependent on it. It rather seems that the failure of Mod: Might and Guile Component: Add Multiclass Kits leaves some file in a state that later causes Sandrah's multiclass kit addition to fail.
I have seen such errors before when a failing earlier mod left games files in some state that later mods needing those files could no longer use. I know of no way how any mod could take this situation into account.

Sounds more like some other mod is leaving things in a state that messes up both M&G and Sandrah. But I'm not sure what coukd be doing that...
I just quickly installed M&G onto a basic EET game, in the wrong order (multiclass kits last) and the right order (multiclass kits first). It installed fine in both instances.
That's M&G 3.7.4 btw... not sure what version was used in the above reports. In any event more data is needed. A weidu.log, for instance, to see what was installed earlier.

I tried M&G with just two other mods last night and M&G installed just fine. I don't think M&G itself is broken. There is just a conflict with some other mod.

Sorry - my wording was misleading. Of course M&G does not leave files unusable under normal conditions.
I meant that the failure of that M&G component or any other mod failure caused issues on later mods.
M&G and Sandrah work well together if no earlier error has occurred, but M&G failing and afterwards Sandrah failing point to a file that was messed up most likely before any of those two made their attempt.

Can somebody point me to a Document or Web Site that gives a general breakdown of the Tweaks and General Mods that are a part of BWS? I'm getting ready to run it to install an EET for the first time, and the MOD looks great and I see it will answer most of the questions I'm sure I will have about which Mods to include, but I thought if there was a quick listing of the core mods that are usually used, i.e. tweakpacks, spell revisions, etc., that would be great. Most of the stuff I'm finding between here, G3 and Beamdog just gives some general highlights, so if there is something more specific please let me know. Thanks.

It is again just an overview of what is available for EET.
There is not yet something like a *recommended* or *tactical* or *maximized* install selection for EET. Reasons are that a) there is not yet enough experience and feedback (it took years for BGT to get those compilations) and b) the list of EET compatible mods is growing weekly.
EET is pretty dynamic and still in progress - BWS tries to help you by providing a relatively reliable install sequence and those conflicts/dependecies between mods that are already known.

My Solaufein Mod updates to v1.1 The new link is: https://www.baldurs-...load&version=16 This should be a permanent link, as it loads an external ressource from my ftp (where I will place the updates without chaning the zip name). So this should be the last time that you have to change the direct download link.
I have done that for Solaufein. I have also updated the Adalon mod with the new link. The mods you host on github are fine as well.
However, Alien has set all other Kerzenburg mods to *manual* treatment in BWS for the moment. I have restored the above mentioned but wait for all others until there is some clarification between the two of you. It makes no sense to deal with that from three different sides.

Thanks both of you for that info on the Mod descriptions. Now I'm trying to run BWS for the first time to get EET set up and I'm hitting a problem I can't seem to solve. I'm getting the install coming to a stop because of this: * BiG World Textpack: Translations and sounds (BiG World Textpack ENGLISH-v17.7z)

*Big World Text Pack is essential and it won't let me go any further. It also throws some exceptions on the EET file too so I'm not quite sure what the hang up was. BWS creates an own download folder, you specify the location on the same menu where you tell where your game parts are. I suggest to put manually downloaded mods there.
Just a remark - Kerzenburg forum currently undergoes large re-build and many mods are given new download links. BWS does not have the new links yet and until the Kerzenburg admins finish their work and publish new usable links some mods may not be available.

Thanks Roxanne. I was really just looking for where I could locate what BWS says it's missing with the BWTextpack, I can't speak German so I wasn't real interested in that site. There is really only a couple mods that it looks like I will have trouble with missing things, that should be fine, I just have to find the missing files so I can get it all put together. Uh, you realize that the download you listed contains the word English so some mods will be given English translations if they are missing them.
If you don't download that, some mods may be installed in Polish, Spanish, French...
