It says the system cannot find the specified path.

Is that the correct location of your BG2EE game folder?
Try entering just "D:" first, then the cd command.
You can also try putting quotes around the path: cd "D:\Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition"

I can't explain why neera11.cre is missing because it is an original game file. It makes me suspicious that your installation might have other problems. Did you start with a clean installation?

Yes, I did, I'll just re-install again with a fresh installation and the latest BWS update, thanks for the help.

Did you move the BG2EE directory to the different location from where the installer put it originally? Just speculating here - perhaps a registry path points to an old copy of the game.

No, but maybe because I ran a mod manually, it was item randomiser.

I wouldn't expect Item Randomiser to cause any problems like this. Maybe someone else on this forum will have some ideas.

Hello! Have a probleme with Rus Setup,
C:\Games\Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition>
Posted 25 January 2016 - 01:13 AM
agb1 - I have a working tp2 file for vendor dlan, not sure if it can be added to a fix or wait until the mod is fixed.
Posted 25 January 2016 - 01:23 AM
Vendedor DLAN: I have already sent a working patch to Leonardo. Guess it will make into next textpack release
Posted 25 January 2016 - 05:00 AM
Hey agb1, it still says I need NEERA11.cre even though I did a completely new re-installation of BG2 EE and a fresh BWS installation, any help would be appreciated and if you could provide me with a NEERA11.cre file I would be in your debt.

Dady, you can copy one of the other neera creature files and rename it neera11. Check the generalized biffing subfolders for neera10.cre, copy that to override and rename it neera11.
Thank you, I was going to do that but I was afraid it was going to mess up my Neera (since I love having her in my party, she is so fun to party with), but since you recommended it to me, I'll do it, you're the programming genius after all, not me .

Sighhhhhh, so, my freshly, heavily modded and finally done BG2 game just crashed when I clicked on start a newgame, I'll upload the crash-dump file in a sec, it's a bit heavy.

No .dmp files please. .err files and .log files we can do something with. If it displays some kind of error message when the crash happens, a screen capture would work too.
Sorry, I got busy and I couldn't reply in time, can you please tell me where to find .err and .log files? Thanks.
Posted 25 January 2016 - 09:39 AM
On the old engine we got information in files named baldur.err and baldur.log in the game folder after a crash. It appears the EE engine does not produce these logs, but instead creates crash dumps. I don't know how to derive anything useful from those dumps. I suggest you create a thread in the troubleshooting forum on Beamdog's website and upload your weidu.log and your .dmp file there.
Were you able to create a new character and start the game, save and reload, with the clean installation before you added the mods?
