Would you ever install the new component 1 without the component 0 ...?

 

If not please ask them to combine.

ALIEN: any reason not to merge the bp-test branch back on to master? By now it is much better than the old master branch.

There is still a problem with manual resolution of conflicts sometimes not doing anything but I saw that also with the old master. So I think it is fine to merge now.

For EE Ascension, 0 needs 1. But does 1 need 0? If both are true, no point having separate components. If 0 needs 1 only, they should swap 0 and 1 in the tp2.

Also, saw you added the Ascension script patcher for EE. The new version doesn't include those fixes already?

Just completed a BG2EE Tactical installation.  Fixed and reported a few issues along the way.
 
* BG2EE:  enabled Resource Fixer
* BG2EE:  added IDS entries for BP and BPSeries AI (this is a workaround):  2302 WIZARD_REMOVE_MAGIC for Spells.IDS, 134 STATE_DISEASED_FIX for Stats.IDS
* BG2EE:  moved Nathaniel portraits before generalized biffing because the tp2 checks for the main component using FILE_EXISTS instead of FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME so doesn't find it
 
More updates:
 
* BG1EE/BG2EE:  added BiG World Installpack, BiG World Smoothpack and Lollorian's Lolfixer
* BG1EE:  removed 38 Subraces for BG:EE from all default pre-selections

Most recent build (commit 8be7815) of bp-test stalls when setting entries (e.g., when you click choose mods & components) (see this pic) on a fresh bg2ee install. This isn't present in the update master build (commit bd1358a).

Oops, didn't expect that last change to be problematic.  zonx, thanks for checking and reporting it so quickly!

 

* BG1EE/BG2EE:  Fixed freeze caused by adding Lolfixer in previous commit (due to unsatisfied TobEx dependency rule)
* BWS:  Added OR-gametype checking for dependency rules without ':' delimiter

The Wheels of Prophecy (Wheels of Prophecy) was not installed due to errors.

Initialise mod (all other components require this) (Sword Coast Stratagems) was not installed due to errors.
 
Stopped install here due to SCS not installing.

Thanks zonx. Looks like BGT this time... You were a couple of hours ahead of my own test install. I'm guessing an IDS problem but not sure yet.

TobEx and G3 BG2 Fixpack weren't installed. Did you possibly start another copy of BWS while your install was running, answer "no" to the "do you want to continue?" question and then try to load the BG2EE pre-selection? If so, that could be why BWS didn't follow your BGT selection.

Well, I see no problem for adding those. Ask the authors to fill BWS Template.
 
Is there a link to it or something that I can send him?

I wasn't 100% sure, so I redownloaded a new bp-test (commit d4e24e3) and ran it again (bg2ee, tactical pre-selection). Seeing the same errors. I did quit the install once it hit the SCS error.

It is definitely a problem with BWS. "Fixed" mods are being skipped, which contradicts the definition and behavior. Something has changed -- not sure what yet. I noticed "Type=M,R,S,T,E" in Config/Setup.ini (instead of F,R,S,T,E) so it might have something to do with restarting BWS in the middle of an install combined with a previously unseen side effect of my adding the 'M'anual mod type.

Since I wouldn't know where to begin with what agb1 says about BWS been broken, thought I'd try a quick install without any of the mods selected mentioned in the previous post. However it still gives the same errors.

Haven't figured out what is causing the problem that zonx reported.  Still investigating that.
 
Meanwhile I've made some other improvements so here's an update:
 
* BWS:  Renamed 'Stable' pre-selection to 'Maximized' pre-selection (with translations for all game types)
* BWS:  Reduced duration of sleeps during download phase -- should speed up this phase
* BWS:  Choosing to cancel in Open File dialog or if local file size does not match after choosing to 'P'rovide a file that could not be downloaded now goes back to the prompt instead of skipping the file
 
* Houyi ('houyi.ini'):  Corrected file name
* Legion of Hell ('lohmod.ini'):  Added 'M'anual type (manual download warning)
* Improved Anvil Lite ('vagrant.ini'):  Corrected file name, removed 'M'anual type
* The Biggs' mods ('tb#tweaks.ini', 'tb#quest.ini', 'tb#kits.ini', 'tb#characters.ini'):  Corrected file name
 
* BG1EE:  Fixed lolfixer(7) TobEx dependency rule (TobEx not needed for BG1EE)
* BWP/BGT:  Added NPC Kitpack 1414 and 2512 (Imoen and Nalia dual-class mage specialist kits) to pre-selections
* BWP/BGT:  Added SCS BG1 tactical encounters to Tactical pre-selection (still Recommended also)
* BWP/BGT:  The Biggs' Tweaks -- switched Maximized pre-selection to 'convenient wishes' instead of 'cheesy unlimited wishes'
