I updated Might & Guile master at Github, the Beastmaster spirit summon should now work in the pre-EE engine (it now uses SPCL621, summoning one of the spirit animals at random just like the Totemic druid).
It also includes some changes for IWD in the IWO component: normalizing and reducing the prices of stuff sold by Conlan, and changing how speed weapons work - they now set base APR high instead of giving bonus APR. In my limited testing, this now means that if you have a speed weapon in your off-hand, you will do extra off-hand attacks instead of extra main-hand attacks. (I need to port this over to the BG2 speed weapons in the next update.)

Thanks for the updates. BWS is pulling the latest "release" of M&G from GitHub so it should pick it up automatically.

thanks for the report. Fixed on GitHub. I forgot that vanilla GTIMES.IDS is missing these common entries. Also added ON_MISMATCH code to this component to skip some patching if the particular code has been altered by other mod.

Varvik, thanks for reporting your success. Did you use the bp-test version of BWS or the old master version?
Since you are playing a tactical installation, consider starting a new thread about your experiences (any problems or inconsistencies you notice while playing -- too-difficult or too-easy encounters, overpowered items, that sort of thing). This will help us evaluate possible changes to the tactical compilation in BWS. If you make a new thread like this, I suggest you also attach your weidu.log and Big World Upload.7z (which includes the install log from BWS).

I am using the not yet authorised BWS installation of EET.
I wonder whether you are interested in findings during the installation process nonetheless.

Spoiler
BG1NPC initially failed to install due to missing ITEM_USE.2da >>>>copied file from another installation into override and continued without further error (the 2da file does not exist in BGEE)

This error is because EET needs WeiDU beta 238.01 and BWS is still using WeiDU 238.
According to this post by Miloch, item_use.2da should be in BG:EE -- http://gibberlings3....431#entry224345
Is the weapprof.2da error also from BG1NPC? Can you check what else modified that file?

Yes, I think I saw the issue about 238.01 but forgot about it. I will retry with that version (just noticed that SCS was in the standard configuration for EET - by whatever justification, so I can leave it out in the rerun)
And weapprof.2da is from NPCKitpack.
Thanks for the help.

the patch for SCS is ready (like for several others BG2:EE mods. Not sure if they are on BWS compatibility list - I don't know how to enable EET installation on it, thought it's not possible), but I haven't received a reply from SCS author if he is interested in incorporating it officially yet, so.it's also not uploaded online. BWS can't install that mod on EET for now. Also keep in mind that the current version is not representative to how the mod will work post release (after pach 1.4 and Siege of Dragonspear, briefly explained on the main Github page). What hangs on Github is for testers only (and a showcase that the project actually exists).
edit: as for the 238.01 weidu error, here is explanation: https://github.com/K4thos/EET/issues/3

And weapprof.2da is from NPCKitpack.
Which components failed? I marked some of the components expert recently but left the others Stable because I didn't have reports about them and haven't tried it myself yet.

OK
I have to give up the EET attempt anyway
Enter the full path to your BG:EE installation then press Enter.
Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\BeamDog\Games\00766
EETdoes not accept any input here, neither via BWS nor when starting EET from setup.exe itself.
It was an attempt to find any value in EE - I will stick to BGT.

Did you switch the Misc-Gui-EET au3 for the Misc-Gui au3 in the Includes folder? There should be an folder selection box for BG:EE on the same screen where you select the path to BG2:EE. BWS uses that path for EET.
Edit: I haven't tried installing EET recently, but it did work for me a few weeks ago.

Just tested the manual installation and it works fine for me. PM sent, hope we will be able to figure out what's up. If you want to make a manual install than you can also provide the path externally, via batch file, like this:
setup-EET.exe --force-install 0 --skip-at-view --language 0 --args-list p "D:/Games/00766"
Unfortunately we can't get the path to BG:EE dir automatically because Beamdog doesn't store it in system registry (DRM free FTW, yeah? Not this time )
Also check out the included readme file for more hints regarding installation.

I implore you to at least wait until the EET mod officially launches (along with the 1.4 patches for the EEs, not to mention the SoD expansion) before you pass your final judgement! Don't crush my dream of one day seeing an EET version of The Sandrah Saga lol!

Agreed. It really needs latest unreleased patches (and SoD content) to fulfill its goals. And it's not really far away too considering that Beamdog announced recently that they plan to release Siege of Dragonspear in early 2016 (and patches for other games will probably hit soon after). I'm actually thinking about hiding the repository on GitHub until release as the open beta for vanilla BG:EE content has been finished.
I've checked The Sandrah mod and from the description it sounds very ambitious But from what I understand it's dependent on many mega-mods that don't have BG2:EE versions. Converting them all would be a tremendous task. At least NEJ part1 conversion would be (proabably) relatively easy due to IWD-in-EET mod, but I doubt that Vlad would be even interested in it, so keep your expectations in check , Ser Elryk

(sigh)... as you say, then. /pouts
lol on an unrelated note: I keep experiencing a crash in AR3000 of BG1EE whenever it transitions from day to night. Is there anything I can upload so that some merciful soul might help me determine the cause? The only thing I can think of is it's an issue with BG:EE Graphics Overhaul (just a very uneducated guess though XD) Here's the dmp file if that helps any:
