I just had a very simple easy question for you smart ones here. I wanted to keep ajantis for bg2, but stupid me did not choose that option in the install stage. I thought I had, but nope. Is it a mod that can be installed at the end or at anytime ? I never did get the whole install order thing down...thank god for the bws.....if I can install it is it best to install it manually or run the bws again ?....and my final question. I want to uninstall a mod a well.....I want to get rid of the xp lowering mod...or atleast change a option...I cant think of the name of the mod, but its the one that you choose 10% to 75 % xp drop for a more balanced game

The news is kinda bad... I wouldn't recommend to install the Ajantis mod, unless you are willing to start a new game at the start of the BG2 SoA game, you can import the Bhallspawn to the start, but that means that you'll loose the continuity of the two games that the BGT brings.

The other options is to cheat the ajantis character to the BG2 part... or if you have the BG2Tweaks mods NPC component, it might have Ajantis(I have no intimate knowledge if it does).

It's probably the Mixmod you are asking about. It was updated to be the Difficulty&smoething mod now.

The Cheat should be as easy, as just using the Console in the BG2 part:

 CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("ajanti")

And then you might have to activate the cheat keys:

 CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys()

And using these, while your mouse in over the creature: CTRL+Q

Well thanks for the advice. I will give it a whirl.......I know I am gonna seem like a big girl by saying this, but I did choose the ajantis romance....and I would like to see it to the end. I get sappy like that. ...............who knows maybe I do have it in there....when I was installing isra, I wanted to try  all girl party at first...it said her mod needed the gavin mod and all the crossmod banters and what not....but the installer kept saying  that they were not there and gavin would be removed......but .........alas! there is gavin standing infront of the temple where he is supposed to be.....and I even took him along and his scripts and abilites and all works fine......maybe I selected a mod that had what I needed hiden it and maybe I can cross ajantis over to bg2 with the romance and npc options I didnt know are in there.......I bit off more then I can chew....I have a crap ton of mods installed ..I used the custom install megamod plus................which probably wasnt a good idea for a newbie mod user, but I got so bored playing the original game. I needed somthing new and got a little to excited

Oh that reminds me. Is there a known problem with the bladesinger kit not working properly ? I would -love- to try it out....no idea if its even worth fixing it or not.....but it seems like a nifty class.....everything seems in order except that at 8th level my pc does -not- get her mage spells as it says in the description........

Sorry for all the questions....I hope I am not using the wrong .section to ask these in.

Bladesinger kit... erhm, which mod is it from ? There's a "Blade Singer" kit in The Darkest Day(TDD) mod, and one in "Elven Racial Pack", and one in my MegaModKits mod, which have you installed ?

Just so I can take more educated guess..

Don't be... you would never get your answer unless you go and ask. :D

The mod, yeah... it's mostly actually a copy/paste of the already existing .tp2 code... so it's the TDDs Bladesinger... will take a look at it some time.

Just one quick question. Since SCS v24, they've been melted together, asi I read in the manual. However, as it now comes without a setup-scs.exe or whatever, and is handled by the batch file instead the BWP Install batch file doesn't recognize it. Now, running hte batch file as usual, does it install it anyway?

Could anyone give me some advice on using this http://www.wiki.tesn...memory_patcher. I applied it to my BGmain.exe and the stutters and freezes have pretty much vanished from my BWP game. Is this coincidence? Or does this actually help or could it hurt? I just tried it as an experiment.

Your links doesn't exactly leads to anything. I believe this one is better.

Just tried this out: well, the game definitely works after this at least. I've just started developing lag in my game though, but I've got a feeling that now it is gone. This wasn't heavy lag of which disappearance I could confidently claim, but still it looks like my little hiccups are gone. Would be fantastic discovery, if it turns out not being an imagination play after all! :)

You had installed the Generalized Biffing and all other things in the #25 list? Just curious..

Hi there again. Now i tried with a deprecated mod list from the "Recommended" install list and i got a working BGT with some additional quest mods. I had to start a new game. My old save files had strange bugs, for example Boo the hamster appeared in my main character inventory.... :doh:

Now i started a new game on the new install and everything is fine except for those Minsc dialouges with his hamster.....he does not make the squeaking sounds. Is that a known bug? Is there any fix for that?

The bug with those dialouge lines appearing as maplabels in the BGT world map was caused by the Swordcoast Map Lables Mod.

Yeah I am unsure as to which version of the 4gb patch I am using. So I just posted a general info. The one I have I got a long long time ago. I must say that my game seems to run better, even the enemies seem to fight better. Another thing I noticed is that my temp directory is always empty now.

Hey all I have -one - question for the little Imp :: eyes around for him and nudges him::  I never did get a answer for my xp fixer mod problem. To refresh you.....I did not read into it enough and most xp is reduced to the lowest option............can I change that now ? Please give me good news....part of my whole point to the huge mega mod install was to reach higher levels not end up at the same level.....stupid me!

Yeah, erhm, I wouldn't recommend that you would uninstall/reinstall/fix it if you intent to have your savegames intact.

Erhm, there is a "good" solution for this, but it involves me making a mod that multiplies the values... and for that I would need to know which component of the mod you installed. :devil: :P

I hope I am posting this in the correct topic.

Trying to install a new mega-mod game with all the latest versions.  Using the BWP files from 10/20/2013.  I have most of the game installed.  But I am having a problem with Sword Coast Stratagems v24.

There is the following line in BiG World Install.bat (v13.0.5):

%IFS%stratagems.exe GOTO :SKIPBG3

This translates to:

IF EXIST Setup-stratagems.exe GOTO :SKIPBG3

I have checked the files that Sword Coast Stratagems v24 has and installs, and there is no file named "Setup-stratagems.exe".  I found Setup-stratagems_autoinstall.debug and stratagems.bat.  Can this cause inhibit Sword Coast Stratagems v24 to install?

How do you install Sword Coast Stratagems v24 with BiG World Install.bat (v13.0.5).  I have tried all ways without success.  This is a new, fresh install so the two previous versions (SCS and SCSII) are not included.  Yes, I read the Read-me file and followed the instructions.  Sword Coast Stratagems v24 does install in the manual mode.

In searching through the other files in BiG World Installpack, the is a file named LIST.txt.  In it, there are the lines:

scs=Sword Coast Stratagems

scsII=Sword Coast Stratagems II

stratagems=Sword Coast Stratagems

Note that scs and stratagems are equal to the same.  Could this cause a problem with installing Sword Coast Stratagems v24 with BiG World Install.bat?

If anyone has successfully installed Sword Coast Stratagems v24 with BiG World Install.bat, please post how it was done.

Thanks for any comments and help,

Tom

Hi tuxr:

Thanks for the tip.  I'll try that now.  It will take between 4 and 5 hours for my game files to be zipped and the game installed.  I'll reply later and let you know if it worked.

Hi majikwheel:

I hope this helps.

I know Ding) Experience Fixer and BP-Balancer with adjust experience by lowering some.  Also in TobEX a component lowers experience.  If you installed SCS and/or SCSII, there may be experience adjustments in them too.

BGTTweaks, component 1900 will restore all experience to the original levels.
