BGTTweaks, component 1900 will restore all experience to the original levels.

Actually it does not. As the case can be that of the creature XP given when you kill the creature, or that of the extra XP you gain when you perform an action like unlocking a lock.
It's actually easy to fix the later, as you just make a nex.txt file, open it with Notepad, "Save as" without the .txt extension and instead of as "xpbonus.2da", and copy paste the pages content, this* in to the file, PS make sure the columns are correct. *

I found another bug in my installation: i cannot get to the map screens south of high hedge. They do not show up on my world map. There are 2 screens, one with that ogre gang from the Bjornin quest and the other one where Drizzt would show up. Is ther any workaround or fix for that?

I'm getting two errors while trying to install BWP 13.0.5:

- parse error at 'Charming Rogue Kit for Imoen' component of 'BPSERIES'

- "Uninitialised return value: f_Value" error for some 'aTweaks' components

Any help would be appreciated!

Hmm ok...........sorry for the late responce.........sor some reason I could not access this site -at- -all- yesterday and this morning.........I am not quite sure what you mean imp, but I am assuming its close to what I did to get around the annoying full install problem. I actully ran into quite a more serious issue. I of course have minor bugs...........I have 0ver 100 mods what can I expect right ?..............anyways................while I will need a little more explaining on that post above. I need to ask. ........I have Coran...and as you know he wants to get the reward for killing the wyvers............well the mayor ( the cleric of the temple to the east) doent offer the gold.....infact even though bassalis is dead he keeps mentioning him needing to be taken care of........I dont want coran to leave due to a unfinished quest......so I was hoping I could cluconsole....or what ever that is...the quest having been complete...............I hope this post makes sense

I am having a problem with Stratagems v24.  I cannot install Smarter Mages (components 6030 to 6034) and Smarter Priests (components 6040 to 6044) in my Tactic mega-mod game.  I don't have the Oversight mod installed but I do have the Big Picture mod installed.  I read the description in BiG World Project v13 English.pdf that Big Picture interferes with Stratagems v24 installing Smarter Mages and Smarter Priests, but it did not give any information about which Big Picture components interfere.  Or it could be I must not install Big Picture at all.

Big Picture components 500 and 525 install Generic Mages and Generic Priests.  Neither of these Big Picture components is installed in my game.  I can find no other Big Picture component that affects Mages and Priests.

If anyone has installed Stratagems v24 Smarter Mages and Smarter Priests, please tell me how to do it.

I made a test mega-mod game to check out Stratagems v24.  I used only the absolutely needed mods to get BWP to work and added only Stratagems v24.  The game installs all the TACTIC mods up to Stratagems v24 component 8030.  The the BWP install stops.  It tells you "more resilient trolls" are installed and just hangs there.  I waited for several hours, but nothing else happens.  It does not do this when I have my complete mega-mod game installed.

I have attached my WeiDU.log file.

The reason for that is that the site was down. Easy.

As for the explanation of the post above... it should be simple, did you try ? As in; What's the problem with the message ?

As for the Coran leaving due to the quest... this might be an incompatibility with a mod... or you might just have to talk to him before doing the implied dungeon. And then make sure he has the chance of seeing the creature killed etc etc so he start the dialog.... anyways, you can by pass the thing by CLUAConsoling him back into the party or just cheating when he leaves(to force him to join back with the cheat keys :P ).

Well the component that interferes with the SCS's primary component:(german setup);~STRATAGEMS/SETUP-STRATAGEMS.TP2~ #3 #1000 // Mod Voreinstellung (alle anderen Komponenten benötigen diese): v24 is the BP's primary component: Big Picture, core component (required for most subcomponents)] ... but this is somewhat mitigated by the BP's new structures and compatibility fixes... but again, it needs to be installed after the SCS's mods, and thus the recomendation of installing the v21 of those...

Hi The Imp:

Thanks for the information.  I was afraid that was the problem.  I guess I need to make a decision as to which mod I really want in my game.

Hi The Imp:

Well, if you make the sure decision, you can install the SCS1 and SCS2 and then install the BP on top of that... using the BWS.
PS: the v24 of the SCS is said to be a beta ... as were the broken (...to some extend) v22, and v23.

I just wanted to make sure I knew what you meant Imp......I wasnt sure what a nex.txt file even is..
It's a file you make ... erhm, "new.txt", not "nex.txt"... :P

...how do you cluconsole ?
Well the instruction in the link I gave you should be quite imp-licit.
You edit the baldur.ini with Notepad in your game directory, add this line to the correct place;
Debug Mode=1
, then save the file, and start the game, open the console with the SPACE + CTRL keys and then you write the required text... this case the cheatkeys open with this:
CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys()
And then Coran leaves the party, you pause the game, and then you CTRL+Q with your cursor of the neutral(the circle on his feet is blue) Coran and he then is forced to join(as the circle becomes green).

I assume once I open it I make it look like the exsample given.....in the like and the one you posted............then save then cut and paste into the override and done............just a matter of finding the nex.txt file to open and edit it!

Ok Update: I went balls to the wall and just went with somthing........I tried actully making a text file in the bg2 main directory named nex.....opened it with notepad.....cut and pasted what you posted up there and then saved it........then cut and pasted the file into the override.............didnt do anything...........am I close ? Do I cut and paste the file or what you posted ?.............Hey I am trying here!

Well well I go the CluaConsole working...........apparently it was all ready set up. I didnt do it........Hmm.....maybe the DnDmc has it auto set up.........anyways thats done!......I finally know what that means and how it worked...........knowing you makes me less dumb Impy =p

Now I just need to figure out how to open the new.txt file...........

Erhm, it's a text file, you open it with a program called "Notepad"... it's a program in every single single Windows out there ...

Am I close

Yes... just save the file with the "Save as..." -command as "xpbonus.2da" - and yes, you need to remove the .txt extension, so you had better make sure you first can see them. Ou you can just get the file from here... it's an archive, so you need to extract that .zip archive to get the file from inside, and then åput it to the override folder.

Well I tried both options and it just does not seem to want to work. I cant repair the xp lowering mod. It's not a huge deal. I just need to learn to live with it this game that's all. I appreciate all the time you took Imp. I am sorry if I cant get annoying =).....

I have to admit though I went further then I ever thought possible just by finding this site and learned alot trying to fix the little stuff. I never thought I would have been able to learn half of this. Most things, don't explain in as much detail for the seriously laymen folk!

I got the Peladan in Ulcaster thing once as well. I guess it's time to fix it :P

Since it's my first play-through, my shock was two fold. First, the werewolf dropped a living baby in a ruin! Second, instead of taking the book, Ulcaster took the baby! I was thinking, what--is he gonna suck the baby's vigor or something?

Now I get it...

Well, we each have our levels of learning we come from, yeah stuff can be really hard if there's nothing to learn from... I try to help everyone... and I know there's things everyone doesn't know... after all I am not an English native speaker even.

Hmm, did you download the file from Mediafire I posted ? And when you did, did you extract it to the game folders override -folder... as in do not extract it to the D:\Pelit\BGII - SoA\override/xpbonus/xpbonus.2da, as the file doesn't work in a subfolder. .. yeah the "D:\Pelit\BGII - SoA" is my game folder, so the file needs to be D:\Pelit\BGII - SoA\override/xpbonus.2da... adjust it where needed.
Now I get it...
Well, there's a lots of these things when one uses non-custom items to add in mod content... we try to avoid, but it's not always possible. The sooner you report it, the sooner it get's fixed... if it ever gets...

Hey I have a question. I am still learning this forum. I hope I dont get scolded for this...if so sorry in advance. I had Dark Horizons questions, but it appears there is no section for that.........where can I post a question for that here ?
