I am currently trying to get Big World to run but I am running into a problem with my BG1 install. It is telling me that I am missing a file "moviecd5.bif" in my BG1 directory and to copy them from my BG1 cds. However when I put in my BG1 discs it is only showing CD3, CD4, and CD6. No CD5! I checked all the CD folders and went into the movies folder of each and just as I thought, it skipped CD5! I am using the Baldur's Gate: The original saga with Tales of the sword coast.

Any advice where this missing file is??

You need to make a full custom install of the BG1 game to your hard drive. -that's the actual end point.

Now you can do that from the BG1 Original Saga CDs by the install rutine that gives you option to make a full install or whatever... you should end with a failry large <gamefolder>/data/ -folder... the original 6 CD version has that as 2.19GB's. There should be also be a <gamefolder>/Movies -folder there where all the movie....bif -files are, and it's size should be 239MB's.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

I solved the issue. It turns out that the file in question was located on CD2 instead of CD3 (The game shipped with 3 CDs total). Seems kinda backwards to me, and the fact that the installation didn't copy over ALL the movie files when I chose custom install is BEYOND me..
