Lag due to water

I'm experiencing massive lag whenever I enter a map with water animations, like the ones on the coast or the bridge to baldurs gate. Other areas are fine, even when I'm carrying around massive stacks of items.

 

I've tried disabling all static animations in the config, but the problem persists because the water is still being animated for some reason.

It's the ambient sounds... read the FAQ thread at the top of this forum, the answer #4 should help you get rid of all lag in the game. This is specifically the point 2 in thiat post.


Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit). 
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Well, you already have your weidu.log uploaded, so if you run to other problems, use this topic for that then,,, and no need to be sorry.... the thing you can do is to read the whole of the topic and try help someone else if you can.
