Hi Leonardo.

I think you should use aTweaks v4.03. Wisp fixed compability problem with BP in v4.02 long time ago and has updated mod even further. Get it from here.

One question though. In pdf you don't install NEJ v6.91 component "Additional content for Part II (beta)" but in bat-file component is installed. Has the compability problems solved?

Thanks to Leonardo Watson for making this possible

Thanks for the hint. Now atweaks installs fine again.

Finally I got rid of all parse errors again. They had been fixed long ago but with the new mod updates they happened again. I will upload the new BWP v12.2 this week.

I have updated BWP guide, Installpack and Fixpack to v12.2 now. No new mods, but updates and changes in the install order. The parsing errors should now be a thing of the past.

Note: for some mods (AzenMOD, Bonehillv275, CtB, DarkHorizons, DrizztSaga, NeJ2, NeJ2v68, NeJ2v691, NTotSC, planarspheremod, RevisedBattles, RoT, SOS, TDD, ToA, TS, TS-BP) it is absolutely necessary to install Lollorian's Trimpack v11.3.4, also known as Borkpack. Without this some mods and components cannot be installed correctly.
For example: SOS biffs files that Ascension has installed before and therefore Turnabout fails to installbecause required files are no more in the override folder.

Congratulations, you managed to take an installer that didn't work for one reason, and make it not work for another reason!

Worth noting prior to this it tells me I've modified the Install.bat, despite doing no such thing.

I have tested the tool of course before I have upload this and it worked flawlessly so I was amazed reading your message.
But I think I know what's going wrong: I assume you have replaced only the install.bat in your game folder with the new one but not the folder. I never took this possibility into account. The install.bat only works with the associated Installpack. You got the message because of missing files. Please make sure that you have also the most recent folder "BiG World Installpack" in your game folder and all should go fine.

Leonardo, you didn't fix typos from this post:

http://www.shsforums...e-2#entry560361

First error lets BGTTweak install second Branwen, even if you have Perils of Branwen installed (there is no POS.tp2), and second don't install Dsotsc characters in BG2 part (Dsotsc is component nr. 5, not 0).

I was pretty sure I had, sorry for being hostile in any case.

I wound up having to completely uninstall the game, clean out the folder, and reinstall it. Not a big deal since it was a fresh install anyway, but still annoying. Still not sure what caused the problem, because I did change out the Installpack folder, though....

Nope, it's still doing the same thing -- it says the Install.bat was modified, and refuses to install, giving the same page as shown above. This is with 12.2.1, and on a completely clean Baldur's Gate II install.

Sorry for the triple post, but I am confirming: I installed a clean copy of Baldur's Gate 2, and extracted ONLY the Big World Installpack into it to test. No other mods or files were in the folder, outside of the Big World Installpack folder, .Bat file, and readme. Sure enough, it says the Install.bat was modified. (It does at least properly report the missing files and folders, but that's small consolation)

BWP Installpack v12.1.1 had the wrong checksum. I'm sorry for that trouble. At the moment I'm running v12.2.2 and it works fine.

It no longer has the Install.bat modified problem, but it still won't allow me to procede without the "listed files and folders", which it doesn't list.

When I run BiG Installpack on its own, it asks for the Textpack and Fixpack. With both of those in the folder, it asks for nothing, but still won't procede past the Tool Check, as shown in the earlier screenshot. And yes, this is a clean install, again.

Notes for the BWPFixpack 12.2 :)

- The c#ajantis_sva patches are fully redundant and need to be purged with holy fire (they were made like 50 years ago and don't exactly 'fix' anything :P) The current patches are actually detrimental.

Things that can be deleted: (because mods already have fixed files inside them)
- com_encounters/_copy/item
- vampiretales/_copy/CoMStore/item
- Lots of files from vecna (ARE, CRE) and TheUndying (ITM)

PSBOLT01.ITM fix for planarsheremod: http://www.shsforums...xpack/?p=554529
Properly ordered CMELF05.CRE from DarkHorizons (attached here): http://www.shsforums...correction-hth/

Also, CtB and planarspheremod still have their trimpack patches :P

I'll look into the BG1 anims crashing with dual wielding katanas thing for the lolfixer meanwhile ^_^ (should be easy to just check if a creep has a BG1 anim and just skip over them)

I had tested my tool together with mods that require the Trimpack but I didn't have tested what happens if none of those mods is installed. Now Installpack v12.2.3 should definitively work. Thank you for your patience.

@Lollorian
Glad to see you back!

@Lollorian

Not only katanas, but also scimitars and flaming short swords. Just to be on the save side, flaming swords too.

Which means you'll be checking for equipped appearance S3, SC, F2 and FS, respectively.

I started experimenting a bit with this and I can't seem to reproduce exactly how an NPC with a BG1 animation should crash :unsure:

I gave an NPC the BG1 human fighter animation and a flame blade (FBLADE.ITM - FS animation)... No crash when I CLUAed it in. Even attacked it to trigger the attack animation but still no crash.

Then gave it an FBLADE in the offhand and still no crash. (the offhand blade didn't show up in the gameworld though)

I noticed most of the crashes in micbaldur's thread seemed to come from dwarves or something so loaded up the BG1 dwarf fighter anim and tried again... Still no crash :unsure:

I went ahead and changed FBLADE's animation to S3 (Katana) and still no crash (although the flames were now gone :P)

A bit more insight to repproduce this in my install would be awesome :)

From the threads over at kerzenburg and here, the common offender would be Suna Seni with a flaming short sword.

Which means:

BG1 fighter female elf (L_FIGHTER_FEMALE_ELF) wielding sw1h27 with F2 as animation.

Common also in every install:

- 1pp v.2.7

- item revisions 1.13

~INFINITYANIMATIONS/SETUP-INFINITYANIMATIONS.TP2~ #0 #8030 // BG1 Animations for NPCs -> Most relevant creatures: v5
~INFINITYANIMATIONS/SETUP-INFINITYANIMATIONS.TP2~ #0 #9520 // BG1 Animations for Exported PCs -> Patch all PCs without prompting: v5

There seems to be no F2 animation in my game for some reason (I have 1ppv4.1 though :P)

I tried installing ItemRev just to make sure it's not the source of the F2 animation. Also the IEDSP doesn't seem to list an F2 :unsure:

Is it a matter of just this specific animation? I had Suna Seni from my game changed to L_FIGHTER_FEMALE_ELF and changed her SW1H08 to use the SC, S3 and FS animations without a crash :unsure:

Or is this just something that some updated version of a mod fixed automatically?

My WeiDU just for refertence:
