Hello,

i was trying to make a mega-mod install with bws but had problems at the installation section with the darkest day. This is the bws debug:

Cannot append column-wise because there are 56 lines in MXSPLRAN.2DA but I was only given 46 things to append

ok, i think my problem is similar to another user's one whose topic i found in this forum; his explanation of how he solved it though is unclear to me:

I've solved with the help of Al17 (Return to Trademeet)

This problem there is when is installed XCAP remover.

MXSPLPAL = MAX SPELL PALADIN 

The Mod TDD and ROT give to Paladin the spell of level 5.

Is sufficiente open the file and add the fifth column with the spell or delete from the line 41 into 50.

 

 

my error message is similar to his, but probably regards the ranger:

anyway i can't understand from his post what exactly should i do; which file should i open? and what does "add the fifth column with the spell" exactly means?

It's simple: just don't install XCAP remover  ; and read BWP manual before next install.

tried not installing the xp cap remover in bg2 tweaks, but got the same exact error as before...

removed virgin mxsplran.2da from the override folder. TDD created its own and installed.
