Thanks for great new romance mod Yvette.

Nice romance so far (i'm at Spellhold now). Plan to play her to Throne of Bhaal.

Little worried though when she left me at Maze (AR1512) but i did get her back at Maze 3 (AR1514).

One problem with Genie encounter (Innershade) at Maze 2 (AR1513).

You put the boy in same room with mage party encounter (Rastor's Improved Asylum).
When i go there mage party talks and then battle begins (i don't have fight them but i like to fight them, they have nice items).
Then Time Stops, Meteor Swarms and other high level spells start flying and kid gets blown to pieces in seconds. No chance to talk to kid before battle.
Oddly Genie though that i didn't kill that kid and resurrected Granny.
I think i move that kid to book of summoning room at my next install.

Well you don't have to do anything about, it just inconvience with Rastor's Improved Asylum mod.

Oddly i didn't play Granny quest at my first play through of Innershade mod last year. I corrected this BIG mistake this time.

The ToB part is a bit different, as some people may have seen my mods have a tendency to get kinda bittersweet. But at least she's not like the same all the time!

I have a little problem with Yvette.

 

I can't level her up to level 32. She gains profiency point but there aren't any prociency point available.

Well... i don't know. I'm no modder as everybody probably already knows.

 

She has lot of proficiencies that i cannot choose. Funny thing is that she has short bow proficiency even though it's unavailable.

 

I removed one of her proficiencies with NI and then level her up. I don't know how many proficiencies she gains at high levels, it remains to be seen (long way to level 50).

 

Maybe Lollorian, Jarmo or somebody highly skilled fixer/modder    could find out what's wrong or it's just local bug in my BWP expert-install.

Yvette's kit allows a point in the EXTRA2 (33rd) proficiency (which is hidden in the normal interface   So you can't add a point and hence you stuck at levelup brotha! )

 

1. Open up WEAPPROF.2DA in NI and look for the "YxKit" column

2. Set the last 1 in that column to 0 (change bottomest 1 to 0)

3. Load up game

4. ???

5. Profit

 

@Lava: Change line 19 in the TP2 from:

Heh an increased level cap in megamods would probably be the indirect cause Can clerics get to 32 in vanilla ToB even?

 

Her original CRE file is a fighter/thief (if you don't install the alternate kit... which explains the bow prof)

I don't remember vanilla levels any more, i've used BWP-installs so many years now.

 

I'm starting chapter 6 and leaving Underdark now and CHARNAME is already at level 50.

 

Well, i didn't care about her class that much so bat-file installed alternative class Pure Heartwarder. I'm mostly interested her romance    and quests.

Lollorian just one question about level up proficiency points. Does this fix cover level up to 36 also, because get this same thing then.

It should cover you upto level 50

 

Consider this, all those 0's and 1's are the max proficiency points that kit can have. The last 19 proficiencies in that table cannot be seen in the GUI, hence they must be 0 (or the game expects you to put points into them at levelup)

 

If you're getting stuck at levelup even after setting the last 19 proficiencies (top-down) in WEAPPROF.2DA, I'd suggest you export the file and attach it for someone to look at

I haven't fixed 2DA-file. I though to wait see what happens later. I remove on profiency and then level her up.

In case someone's wondering, and because G3's back... Check the first 'Game mechanics fix' here That's the fix applicable to Yvette's kit

Here's a rough translation of someone from the Kerzenburg forum:
He thinks that 13 th moon (esxdag2) does not give XP with instant kills (graphics borrows from the gith soword (sw2h15).

Eilistraee's Song and Innershade (Deep Gardens Vol. 2) has a conflict. If both are installed, you need to visit Innershade before Brynlaw because the place on the worldmap gets overwritten by an overlay of Eilistraee's Song and you could not visit Innershade any more. Doing ES fist and then getting the map for IS in the underdark would not help in that case.

Lava, as maker of these mods you have the final word where these areas are in worldmap?

 

Now they both are at Forest of Tethyr east from Underdark Exit.

Yes the problem is in worldmap mod. Topic about it is here.

 

Problem is that both are in same place at Forest of Tethyr just east of Underdark Exit.

 

I discuss about Lollorian about the fix when he wakes up (for some odd reason he needs to sleep at nights ). I or Lollorian inform (probably Lollorian i don't know how fix anything ) about the fix so you can update your mod.
