There are dupplicated key/id somewhere in your install. I 'll try to find where, log explicit value and keep going on running

I remove one of these lines (and replace the aliases with mines) and every thing runs  ;)

@Miloch: do you still have your CTD ?

 

V0.06 minor improvements:
- Duplicated tags handled to prevent CTD
- ARE screen displays animation location, and creatures spawn by scripts
- Creature and Area integrity based on Miloch's works; results are surprinsing, run it on your BG2 install  :)
- InfinityCore can ask you (as InfinityExplorer) BG2 folder at every start (set Config.ini/[OPTIONS]/FORCE_ASK_BG2_PATH to 1 instead of 0)
 
 
 
- I coded something to play a dialog from a dialog.d  and a dialog.tra; so a modder can script a dialog with Weidu syntax, and test it immediately.
- To see a preview: open menu Mod/Create Dialog/ then Ctrl + O and choose a the folder Dialog Samples/BEGIN and APPEND
- You will see a (modified) dialog from immesval mod. You can modify it and play it instantly. Or you can test your script, select a folder with your .d and your .tra (not mandatory)
- For now, I code only BEGIN, APPEND, APPEND_EARLY, CHAIN, INTERJECT, INTERJECT_COPY_TRANS -- anything that is tagged as "Do not use this without a real reason" or "Legacy" are skipped.
- Press F5, F6, F7 or F8 to select the text format: index only , index then text, text, text then index ; try it, you will understand easily
 
- I cannot go any farther, I need some help to write dialogs that disambiguate Weidu documentation and other .D actions. The dialog player engine is done, I just need detailed samples/explanations; then modders should have a nice tool  :)

Wow. This looks like an excellent tool!

I'm a modder just starting out in this whole modding business - this looks like it adds some simplicity.

Sadly when i try to launch it the splash gets stuck on "Collecting resources" from the CHITIN key. Is this because i have a modded/updated version of BG2?

I use it with my Mega Install, it's fine.

Note that you can not use it with BG2EE

 

You can try with this new version with minor improvements:

- Double Click rather than Click to open a file

- Alt + Double Click to open in another window

- fix minor bugs

Well, I give up.

 

I tried to add every NearInfinity features, then I discover this: EVERYTHING is strangely hard to code or incredibly slow compare to Java. Manipulate basic image is a hell, no lib, no reliable components, create/position/update/synchronize UI dynamically requires tons of codes whereas with Java it's soooooo  easy. I learnt all of this while reverse engenering NI in Java and coding in C#.

 

C# disappoints me so much...

Are you using WinForms or WPF?  I've been working on a Windows Forms project in my day job for the last year and a half.  I've struggled with it at times, but C# and the .NET framework are great.

C# Winforms; coding in ASM, VBA, Delphi, C++ since 15+ years and since 5 years for C#.

 

I use C# components/lib for ultra low latency trading; but manipulating images and bytes is desperatly slow/hard/weird to code compared to Java...

is there a newer version out then 1.01h? and does this work in windows 8 ? and i cannot seem to load the program it glitches out loading right away
