Imoen is just all kinds of trouble, isn't she?
So, I beat BG1 (using BGT) and am moving into BG2....did a bit of the dungeon, and none of the imoen romance conversations appear, and I can't force talk her (Nothing to say.)...
Exported my character , just in case.... (pantaloons and a packed spellbook....). I have had no conversations with her in BG1 related to the mod.. (Gorion amulet is BG1NPC i think...)
Apparently this is a common issue with BGT. I was wondering if anyone had an idea for a workaround. To get the ball rolling....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First idea: Re-install Imoen romance.
Problem: It's smack in the middle of my install list. Screwy things happen if you mess with about 30 mods to reach it....
Suggestions, Risk it, or Nix it?
Second idea: CLUACOnsole....something? Adjust a Global variable to make the game realize its there and begin working?
Problem: No idea where to begin, or what to try...The mod has it's Romance 1-4 stuff, and then there the BG1 is Beaten variable.....
Third idea: Import character to new BG2 game....Game no go screwy?
Problem: Imoen loses her packed spellbook. No idea when I can expect the first conversation, so no idea how much time i should waste checking.
Fourth idea: Combine 2 and 3? Go back to just after Sarevok Death...Add variable that cause issues. (The BG1 beaten one).... export char...try to start via BGt, then import char if it doesn't work?
Problem: Once again, I need to know what to enter into the box... also need to know when to expect conversation #1.
Fifth idea: Install Imoen romance again, like its a different mod, overwriting whatever the original did?
Problem: Yah....no clue how one might do this or even if its possible, as WeiDu tends to skip "conflicting" mods.
Sixth idea: Screw it, date Viconia.
Problem: I install multiple romances for a reason.
Seventh idea: Manually remove all romance files. Make Weidu magically forget I installed the mod. Reinstall.
Problem: Read above as "I'm probably going to irreversibly break something."
Any ideas?
