Lots of testing going on in the workroom & prgress being made (honest!), but inspiration is in short supply just at the moment, so any suggestions are welcome!

1- the level 1 staff summon spell is really really overpowered
2- entering his room, he talks to the player right away, and i don`t remember there being a prompt to say something like "stay here i`ll be back later", i could only have him join right now or have him leave forever, i would have preferred to leave that for later and it annoyed me a lot when he just left
Apologies if i remember wrong, this was like 6 months ago or perhaps even more.

You can come back later to talk to him I think you could even in the original; you definitely can now!
Actually, though feedback on all areas is welcome (I've spent quite some time reading through the feedback & bug threads), I am particularly interested in topics of conversation between Hubelpot & the PC. I've pretty well finished revising & testing the rest (*Knocks on wood), but there is still only one talk between him & the player! All I've thought of so far is "What would you like for dinner?" and, of course, the ever popular "How are you?" for the PID. I think people would rather have a few more!

I always like when NPCs ask the PC their opinion on things, it gives the player a chance to actually roleplay. Hub is obviously interested in food, so he could definitely talk to the PC about his history with food -- what inspired him to get into cooking, why he continued, struggles he's had with it -- and using that, ask the PC about the struggles in his/her life.
I'd also like to hear more about Moira and Hamish (? I'm not sure if those are the right names, but I mean his family) -- how he misses them, funny anecdotes about them, etc.
Post-Spellhold it's always nice to have some kind of talk where the NPC shows their support for the PC in some fashion. I can imagine Hub trying to ply the PC with their favorite foods and awkwardly trying to father them, asking how they're going, if there's anything he can do. He can't possibly understand what the PC is going through, but he can damn well make life easier with some good food.
I'd also like to hear more about Hub's druidry; why is he a druid, and not just a cook? What draws him to nature?
What about why he's still travelling with the PC when he has a family? Yes, it's obviously an important quest and whatnot, but I'd like to see more discussion of his inner reasons. It takes a lot for a man to leave his wife and kids; what other reasons is he doing it?
Just a few ideas

(He does have a comment on the Ilithium. Not sure if it made it into the existing beta or not, though it was written by the original team).

I can look at it if you want, or GeN1e might even be better for spells. The spell's probably going to stay the same (partly because I am not a spell maker).

I'll PM you the lot then (it's spell + .cre, really). I just tested it to make sure it works, and, yes, for a Level 1 spell it is overpowered. IIRC, it's as compensation for Hub's own low level, but still....
And thanks
