And all in 2D, too. Who ever said 2D was dead?! :D

I'll say it's dead... yes, I am referring to the facts in my previous post for the reason a 2D is impossible in a game, any game(vertical, horizontal and TIME). Yep, it's all 3 dimensional, hello you are looking it from a monitor...

What, is there a new video? Because the shadows were terrible, the dynamic lighting was good.

Why does it seem like I have the tendency to love anything that Chris Avellone says, but dislike anything from J.E. Sawyer? It almost seems schizo, especially considering MCA appears to have contradicted JES at least somewhat with his talk of "some companions not having the same combat potential"...which I thought went entirely against what JES is doing. :|

Well, actually, I think Sawyer is a pretty cool dude - or at least he seems that way. I just...don't...agree with his design philosophy. :|

The Neverwinter MMO is not Neverwinter 3, so don't think about it like that, or at least don't say it.
And Fallout 4 aren't a possibility not because the teaser doesn't look cool enough, but because Bethesda has the Fallout license.

So Obsidian put up a new teaser announcing a new game with a 4 in it! The name's yet unknown, but there are two possibilities:
- Dungeon Siege 4 (Please no)
- Neverwinter 4. (Counting the MMO, there's been three Neverwinters up to now)

Fallout 4 and The Old Republic 4 aren't a possibility because the teaser doesn't look cool enough.
I really hope it'll be the Ne4winter, because they've been sitting on a 4e license for years, and with all the great potential, produced only Daggerdale. 4e deserves at least one game.

Opinions, thoughts, whatever?

Actually you are talking about the visual perspective in the represented game enviroment, not spacial dimentions of the ... display :P . . . in which case you actually have to use a specific terms such as "first person", "third person"... etc.

Oh. They're using Planescape:Torment dialogue style, with quotes! But it's bad and immersion-breaking and nobody even does it anymore! Aaaaargh!

I don't really like their use quotation marks, there are more elegant ways to handle the narrative and actions inside dialog than slapping quotation marks on all speech options.
