What I meant by :

I really don't know why you link me this, I already had this file in my BG1 directory alongs with another "setup-correcfr" that the "BWP setup" seem to force install.

Is that apparently the BWP setup use 2 setup-correcfr, one for Bg1 & another for BG2. I figured that out a while ago and tried to change the BWP install.bat so he can recognize setup-correcfrbg1 & setup-correcfrbg2, but without any succès

Also you can see in the Debug install that it succeed to install the first one, but shutdown right after that.

when I killed Slyth and his lover in the Undercellar, I didn't find the Duchal Palace invitation on his body, and so I couldn't advance in the main story. The only way I could solve the problem was to CLUAConsole in the invitation so I could continue.

I'm not sure if this was just a bug on my install, or if its a more serious issue, but I mention it just in case.

It's probably the BWP Balancer that stole the letter from the assassin. It's know bug on that part with BGT... ironically. It's tried to be fixed...

I think he means the Trimpack's BoneHill patch

In which case you took the lesser evil (the bigger one being getting the latest Trimpack and reinstalling from scratch )

Although yes, the old Trimpack would be incompatible with not just Bonehill but a lot of the other mods as well, so your install is probably screwed anyway

So I tried my hand at installing the BiG World Project for the first time, option was Mega Mod Plus, and after some trying I got my hands on almost all the required mods. Only the following ones were missing, all of them from G3. I did go to the emergency mirror site, but several of the mods don't match the required versions.

Crossmod Banter Pack (BG2): v13 available, v14 required
Gavin NPC for BG2:ToB (Beta): v20 available, v25 (?) required
BG2 Fixpack: The downloaded file isn't recognized by the setup, even after changing the spelling to match the expected file.
Sarah NPC: The downloaded file isn't recognized by the setup.
Kivan and Deheriana Companions: v12 available, v13 required
Tyris Flare NPC: v3 available, v6 required
SCS I & II: v19 available, v21 required
Garrick's Infatuation: Mod is not available.

Erhm, what does the lines after the [Alias] text say in your baldur.ini file when you open it with Notepad or similar program ?

Someone should notify the Devin mod's author that PxYeti.cre in the mod package is not in the standard BGII:ToB CRE format (the CRE is v9.0 - used by the IWD series )

I'm having a similar problem. The *good* news, is I have most of the G3 mods backed up.

However, I'm having one issue with BiG Project Setup (YAY I GOT THE NAME RIGHT!!!!). The BG2 Tweak pack is not being detected. I've got DLs for v9, 10, and 11, and the 12/16/12 BWS Setup program won't take any of them. At this point, I have to assume I have something named wrong. Any ideas where I can DL a fresh version of the Tweak Pack it wants?

EDIT: *LAUGHS* and not 10 seconds after I post this, I find another copy of BG2 TweakPack v10 I downloaded for BGEE and THAT works. If anyone else needs this, let me know. I'll find a file share site to upload it to, so those of us who picked a poor time to start modding can still have some fun.

Absolutely true, and the BG2 Tweak pack version is incorrect in the GUI installer, - listed as v10, not v11 ...but this can be corrected in the mod admin side of things. - The main problem with using v10 is that a typo causes the install process to fail when installing the jewellery stacking component. v11 of the BG2 Tweak pack can be downloaded through the Gibberlings 3 emergency mirror: http://www.camagna.n...ncy_mirror.html

Right, so who's still looking for what? - G3 is back with us, again, and a good number of missing links have now been replaced with working ones.
 
The files shown below are BWP required files for the Windows OS, which have been reported as having problems, or which

are missing, unavailable, or very recently amended or updated. This is for reference only and, with constant work in

progress on the IE scene, cannot possibly be considered to be a totally authoritative guide.
