I can install the BG2 part of the mod just fine. However, after the extraction (when the big world install batch file runs) a warning comes up. It says install.bat has been manipulated. When I choose to install both BG and BG2 it says "BG1 patch check and press any key to continue". It just repeats the message when you push a key. What do I have to do to get both to work?

Remove the BiG World Install.bat
Rename BiG World Install.bak to BiG World Install.bat
Start the BiG World Install.bat

Or just extract the BiG World Installpack-archive into the BG2-folder again.

That didn't work. However, I removed GOTO :TP1CHECK from the batch file. It solved the problem, but now I have another problem.

I get the message: The minimum requirements are not met.
The listed mods do not exist in your BG II - SoA directory

Baldur's Gate Trilogy

The listed mods are mandatory
Please copy them into your BGII - SoA directory and then continue.

How do I fix this?

Ok, both BG and BG2 Big World mods were installed, but I am having problems starting BG1 up. After I run bgmain I have Baldur's Gate and TOB options. In the Baldur's Gate option I can choose BG or BG2. However, when I start BG1 it starts out at the begining of BG2. When I start BG2 it looked like a tutorial of some kind. What can I do to fix this?

thanks

I think that just BGT is installed now. When I run Big world install it only takes like 2 mintues. I have a folder BG II - SoA that has the mods in them. I'm trying to figure out how to install those mods at this point. My entire directory only has about 10 gigs in it. Are the files compressed, or are they just not installed yet? Because previous installs took 2-3 hours and took up 20-25 gigs.

Check the WeiDU.log to see what's installed and what not.
Check the BiG World Sebug.txt to see what the Batch did during the install.

Running the Batch on a game with mods installed and not on a clean install is a bad idea.

I finally have a playable installation, and I really don't want to mess my installation up. I don't have TDD installed currently. Would manually installing it at this point cause any problems? Also, I really wanted to create a samurai character. However, it isn't an option in the ranger class selection. What mod contains the samurai class?

Yes, it would break your game.

Take a look at Lolorian 's kit list
