In the past, I never had a problem. SO I am at my wits end to finish this quest.

I have the following installed:

1..SCSII #0 #4067 // Make the wizard stronghold available to all classes: v20
2..BPV180
3..TDD v1.14

I searched previous problems with Tolgerias (all from around 2006/2007) and have not found a solution that works. Many talk about problems with BPV177.

I tried going to the fire lab and than back to kill the female mage, but this does not work.

I looked up Tolger02.cre and Tolmag02.cre. Both had the SUREHP1 rings.

Edited Tolger02 and Tolmag02 with ShadowKeeper to remove the SUREHP1 rings. Still they do not die. I replaced them after this failed.

Tried to use Power Word Kill when they were NEAR DEATH, does not kill them.

Of course, <CTRL>-Y does not kill them.

Seanas had a fix where you copied BPTGMG1A.bcs, BPTOLG1A.bcs, and LAVOK.dlg into your OVERRIDE folder. Tried that and it did not work.

Any suggestions on how to kill Tolgerias and his female mage? Is there something I should have not added to my mod game?

Well I killed them, but I do not know if I messed up this quest.

As I said in my previous post I removed the SUREHP1 rings and that did not work. So I replace the SUREHP1 rings and tried another tactic I read in my search. I lured the female mage into the fire lab and than back to the original room. I beat on her until I was certain she only had one HP left. Then Nalia cast Power Word Kill. The female mage is now dead. After that Tolgerias cast ever thing he could at Nalia. It took some time to revive her and some effort to keep my party from killing her, but in the end Nalia was playable again. Then I beat on Tolgerias until I was sure he was down to one HP and Nalia cast Power Word Kill on Tolgerias. That killed him. I am not pleased with the way this quest has been messed up.

That's the old bug from BP.  I had cheated a shapechange scroll to kill Tolgerias in my last game.  Haven't had that problem playing without BP this time.  Even though it is messed up, as long as you found a way to kill him the quest will continue normally from there.  Perhaps it will be fixed in the next version.

There is a fix for that in the latest BPv180 and also v181 IIRC. I'm pretty sure BP should go after TDD and any other megamods, but check the BWP guide for installation order.
