Hi, my friend uses this tool to install tactics version of Big World, and he includes The Darkest Day with it. When i tried to do same, error occurs, it has conflict with RoT mod. How could i fix it? Have same version like my friend and he has same mods like me, except TDD, which may cause problems when playing multiplayer. Thanks for any help.

For some reason, they made TDD confict with RoT, even through they are perfectly compatible. I would not install either, and try to install as few quest/shop/NPC mods as possible - pick and choose, and do the same with the tactical mods.
At this point, I'm not really doing much Baldur's Gate related. More focused on Skyrim modding and the Born of Legend tabletop roleplaying game. Don't expect much activity here.

but he is installing tactics version(excluded some NPC mods) with all automatically checked quest/shop/NPC mods and he also included TDD. So which one could be installed as first? Thanks

I'm not sure what's the issue with BWS (just a compatibility check when selecting mods/component I guess?), you can try manually DL'ing/unpacking if you feel confident about it OR if you intend to play multi (which requires the exact same install on all machines) :
You might as well copy/paste his game folder from your friend's computer to yours and it should work fine.

Hi Konva.

I have a BGT TACTIC game with ~180 mods and no installation errors. It includes all the Big BG2 Mods, Big BG1 Mods, BG1 Quest Mods, BG2 Quest Mods, BG2 Tactical Encounter Mods. So what you describe can be done.

Check the BiG World Project V11 PDF file (I use the English version) for the mod/component conflicts. Use the latest versions of the mods. The BiG World Install.bat file checks for many of the conflicts, but not all. You will still need to edit the BiG World Install.bat file to ensure all the conflicts in the mods/components you selected are resolved. DOS and BASIC were the first languages I learned so I have no trouble editing the BiG World Install.bat file. If you need help with DOS, I recommend http://www.computerhope.com. For my game, it took me about four days to ensure I had all the conflicts eliminated.

Good luck with your game,

Tom

I don't know where you got the version from but I seriously doubt that it's a current one.
Can't reproduce your error with the one from here.

downloaded that BWP Setup you provide, started tactics installation, succesfully extracted, and install.bat starts. Now It says this:
he minimum requirements are not met.
Listed mods do not exist in your BG II - SoA directory

Baldur's Gate Trilogy

the listed mods are mandatory
Please copy them into your BG II - SoA directory and then continue... So what is the name of mod file or just what to do, if rename file can fix that error.. Thanks for help.

/edit: This problem was solved.. but when installation starts, no mods are installed after finish. After installation a check has started. All mods which i want are not installed. So where is the problem? I'm using windows 7 and all of the games are installed on second disc.

The mods put their output into Setup-[mod].debug and the BiG World Install.bat puts the output into BiG World Debug.txt.
Look into those files and get the a clue by searching for lines with an error.

The debug is useless because there's nothing in it after the patching is done. So the mods installation did not run.
Try to open a cmd, go to your BG2-fodler and execute a Call BiG World Installpack\Install.bat TobEx "100 101 102 103 105 107 108 109 110 111 112 113 114 115 116 117 118 120 121 122" and see what's written on the screen. That's what the batch should do first when it starts to install mods.

When followed your instruction, this happens see picture 1:
http://img269.images...commandcall.png
it says BiG isnt inside or outside command, runnable program or bat file(translated from czech)
So i changed directory to BiG World Installpack and tried to execute call command: Call Install.bat TobEx "100 101 102 103 105 107 108 109 110 111 112 113 114 115 116 117 118 120 121 122" and got this:
http://img853.images...commandcall.png

Probably missing some files? Or wrong directory? Thanks for help.

Ups. Use quotes... Call "BiG World Installpack\Install.bat" TobEx "100 101 102 103 105 107 108 109 110 111 112 113 114 115 116 117 118 120 121 122"

Meh. I should have tested that. :(
Edit the file and replace
::@echo off
with
@echo off
and
FOR /F "tokens=2* delims==" %%i IN ('findstr /i /b /C:"%1=" "%BWIP%\TRA.txt"') DO SET TRA=%%i
with
FOR /F "tokens=2* delims==" %%i IN ('findstr /i /b /C:"%1=" "BiG World Installpack\TRA.txt"') DO SET TRA=%%i
.
Then run the test again.

Or just run the installation, pause and copy some of the output...

The text should contain something like

Skipping spitems: Setup does not exist

Skipping spitems, component[s] 0: Does not fit language selection

Available mod translations == En-0,Ru-1
Installing spitems with EN translation language-token #0

Copy that part and it should give us a clue.

Ok edited and tested via cmd again, got this:
http://img220.images.../3743/calln.png

/edit

and
FOR /F "tokens=2* delims==" %%i IN ('findstr /i /b /C:"%1=" "%BWIP%\TRA.txt"') DO SET TRA=%%i
with

FOR /F "tokens=2* delims==" %%i IN ('findstr /i /b /C:"%1=" "BiG World Installpack\TRA.txt"') DO SET TRA=%%i
.

Maybe there should be problem with directories? /C:"%1=" "BiG Wo ... I have game installed on D.

Did you delete the BWP_Language-file? I guess from the picture that it is missing. It's necessary for the install.bat-call.
If you did, run the BiG World Install.bat until you entered the tokens of the languages you'd like to have in your game, then see if it exits. Running that batch would also delete your selection every time you start it.

The /c is a switch / parameter for the find-command. It's not a drive-letter.

ok, im not sure about it but this is what i need? http://img33.imagesh...82/installa.png
then i press E for english. BWP_Language file should be where? In my BGII - SoA directory is not, and in BiG World Install is not also.
/edit: Or it has to be this screen? http://img600.images...8/install2t.png

/edit2: Hmm what about IM contact? With this style it could take another weeks and i want to play :D

It's the later one with the language-tokens (EN GE RU).
I'll be at home 8 to 10 hours from now. Don't know if you're up at that time.
