Hi guys.

I get the following error when I try to install the Finch NPC in a manual installation:

I am using the latest version of the BW-Fixpack, though I don't see any fixes for Finch in it.
Does anyone know what is going on?

Thanks in advance.

You can't install the Tutu version of a mod on BGT/BWP - you need the BGT version.

I downloaded the mod from here: http://kerzenburg.ba....eu/bwpmods.php

It's the plain version, despite the ''for Tutu'' thing.

From the BWP .pdf:

...9.10.3. Double-click the Setup. The DOS dialogue appears:
Choose your language: 0 [English]
Install Component 0 [Finch NPC for Tutu v3.0]? [I]nstall
Successfully installed [Finch NPC for Tutu v3.0] Press ENTER to exit
The readme opens.

Problem is, the same guide mentions that ''...the BiG World Fixpack makes some changes to this mod...'', though as I wrote, I don't see any Finch fixes in the Fixpack.

They are moved into a folder called "BWP Compatibility" - or something along the lines of that. Just copy it into the main fixpack folder and run it again.
At this point, I'm not really doing much Baldur's Gate related. More focused on Skyrim modding and the Born of Legend tabletop roleplaying game. Don't expect much activity here.

Thanks, I have found it. But is it ''safe'' to run the Fixpack again in the middle of the installation, or should I start over again?

Yes, you can run it again. It will skip the arleady patched files.

Thanks again.

But, are there any other files that I have to move in the main fixpack folder, before running the Fixpack.bat?
For example, in the ''_BWP compatibility'' folder there are some other files (like scs, bg1ub, etc.) of mods I am going to install. Should I move them in the main fixpack folder as well?

I understand that everything is done automatically when using the install.bat, I just wish there was more info for a manual installation, especially for the Fixpack.

All the other fixes are in the main folder. Do not move in the bg1ub folder, but move everything else in.

Cheers. I had the same problem but now fixed.

Should we copy all the files from the BWP Compatibility folder to the fixpack?

Again thanks.
