What happens if you kill off Imoen in BG1?

I was wondering: what happens with the transfer of Imoen from BG1 to 2 if you kill her off during the BG1 portion? I'm assuming the game just revives her, but if so, is there some kind of in-game explanation? I'm just curious.

As far as I know, she will spawn as the regular BG2 character with no explanation given, just like if you played with vanilla BG1, murdered Imoen, and imported your character in BG2.
French translator of: BG2 FixPack, BG2 Tweaks, Baldur's Gate Trilogy-WeiDU, BGT-Tweaks and some minor mods.

Imoen is a plot important NPC, so if she gets killed off and not resurrected when you transfer to BG2, the plot will automatically resurrect her. I kinda want to see a new line of dialog in case that happens.
At this point, I'm not really doing much Baldur's Gate related. More focused on Skyrim modding and the Born of Legend tabletop roleplaying game. Don't expect much activity here.

that's been known to happen on occasion in my regular BG games. Knowing that she's storyline important for BG2, I have to go back to the last save and try it again without her getting chunked (i.e. dead, body shattered to pieces, and no more team portrait). I know I don't need to do that, but it makes for a bit of consistency.
