Hello there again.

I hate to only say something when having problems but here i am again with one that is really big.

I recently had a bug where i could not enter the Yaga Shura Cave so i had to reinstall the game.

Now a have the following problem:
When i'm done with the installation and start a game i get really weird bugs.
In my old saves i have party with Haldamir in it. So after installing the the whole lot of mods and start a game Haldamirs name is changed to a really long sentence i thin has something to do with one of Faldorns emotes. Additionaly the names of the places on the Map are renamed to other emotes of different NPCs.
I tried to reinstall about 5 times, but always get the same result. I just can't seem to find what is causing the problem.

Now i tried to install one time again. This time with another problem.
All my Party NPCs have their voices changed.
So Montaron only talks something of Minsc. Like when i select him he says the emote of Minsc when Dynaheir dies or when he goes Berserk.
Xzar is talking with the voice of Xan.
Jaheira has the soundset of Imoen.
Khalid is different also, just can't remember whos voice he has now, think i never took that NPC with me.
And i think Viconia is having the soundset of Shar-Teel.

This is really annoying.
If someone could help i would be really grateful.

Oh! And here is my weidu.log:

That always happen when you use saved games from different installations

I'll try right now...

Turambar is right. Starting a new game will solve it. This is because the position of the game's texts and sound refences are written into the savegame only once - when you start a new game. Now, if you make a new install in which even just a single line of the whole game text is different compared to your first install (e.g. because you install different mods or newer versions of mods), the new game text file is not exactly the same anymore. When you now load an old savegame, which expects the whole game text to be exactly the way it was the first time, you will end up with the behavior you described.

Therefore, as a general rule when using mods, you should always try to finish one game with the same install you started the game with.

You can rescue the voice part if you install BG1 NPC Project and its component "PC initiated dialog". Then you'll have the ability to force talk your group characters and choose the line "your voice is strange". That will reset their voices, name and biographie.

Nothing can fix the other issues with names (worldmap, places, shops, other characters) though.

If you ever have to move a save game in a whole new installation, you need to recover the dialog.tlk file from your previous installation (where you recover the save game). Then make your new game installation + original patch, then replace the dialog.tlk with the one from the previous installation (I mean before installing any mod). Then you can install the mods.
Due to the way WeiDU works, it will reuse the texts already within the dialog.tlk you had in your previous installation while it install the mods.

If you still have the dialog.tlk from your previous installation, you could try a complete installation using this trick.
