So I've been trying to install BWP for the last couple of days and I've been working through/fixing various errors but I'm completely stymied on this latest one. From what I can tell skimming through the debug files, the install chokes when it gets to Baldur's Gate Trilogy and as a result it and txtmusic don't get installed. Attached are the Big World Debug and Setup-BGT.debug files. Anyway, after installing/re-installing over a dozen times I'm officially burned out. Thanks in advance.

This problem is known and should really be a FAQ question. For now, please use this replacement version of the BiG World Install.bat to fix this problem.
At this point, I'm not really doing much Baldur's Gate related. More focused on Skyrim modding and the Born of Legend tabletop roleplaying game. Don't expect much activity here.

The file is corrupted. At least it is for me every time i try to download it. The changes to this .bat file are the ones that have to do with BGT in the big world install bat file right?

Use 7-zip - known problem with the site, or just get rid of the spurious byte with a hex editor.

Ok. That appears to have done the trick. At the very least I finally got a successful install with the core of the mods that I plan to use. Thanks again!

Could some moderator please pin this topic until this issue has been solved? There are some 3-4 reports like this every day

Using that Batch file, it can't detect the correct path on my windows.

The other batch file, while it can't install BGT, however, can detect it.

Important thing: You need to extract the Installpack first, then extract the modified install.bat - and let that override the Installpack version.

That was what was done originally, given the "the other batch file can detect it."

I manually echoed the BGT path on the original batch file and it's working so far.
