Greetings,
As a modding rookie I am preparing a "tactic" BWP install. As bug free as possible but hard in difficulty. The plan is to include most "recommended", few hand picked "standard" and as many as possible "tactics" mods from the list
Now what I dont understand is where on the scale "easy install -> experts only" tactic mods are. I mean, are those mods hard to install and possibly have bugs or are they just difficult to play?
Hope I am not missing something obvious. Thanks for clearing this out.
Are tactics mods for modding experts only?

Hi,
IMHO, they don't have more bugs (and are not harder to install)...
They make the game harder : most of the time just harder, and a few times insane harder !
More than that, the first time you play "tactics" you will have surprise when/where you don't expect it (you will reload your game more often).
Tactics is really a good choice when you have finished the game a few times...

The mods in "Expert" category are mods known to introduce many unresolved bugs, so they are there only for players that really know what they are doing.
Most tactical mods aren't in that category as far as I know.

Hi Kyjan.
My playing Baldur's Gate goes back to `1995. The major difference between standard and tactic is that the quests are the same, but the encounters can be very difficult. But if you have played BG type games, you should be able to enjoy the tactic game without too much frustration.
