Hello everybody!

I've been scouring the net a couple of times for Keldorn quotes but I have basically only come up with a couple of quotes.

When Imoen is trying to steal Keldorns ring AND when Minsc says that it's an honor to fight beside him.

I know that there are plenty of good quotes left.

Do you have any quotes you'd wish to share? Or is there a txt file with Keldorns dialogue in it somewhere?

There you can find the Infinity Explorer, which allows you to view the game content; dialogue files, area files, etc.

Keldorn's dialogue files are

KELDOR.dlg
KELDORJ.dlg
KELDORP.dlg
BKELDOR.dlg
BKELDO25.dlg
KELDO25J.dlg
KELDOR25.dlg - ? Not sure about this one.
KELDO25P.dlg

The 25 files are for Throne of Bhaal.

Oh, and any files altered by mods will show up in the override folder - to find it, go to File -> Open External File, and then go to the override folder for whatever game you want to access, in this case BG2. The IE Explorer works for all IE games, though, so you could just as well use it for Icewind Dale.

I... am not sure, either, and that is ridiculous. I should know.

It's also ridiculous that I cannot think of a single quote that is not part of his soundset. Oh! Here we go: "I'm being verbally pummelled by a gnome." It's a ToB banter he has with Jan and the PC.

I really wish I knew who wrote him.

I don't have BG installed at the moment but tried DL infinity explorer anyway. I'm getting a decompression failed when DLing it. Tried twice now.
I am, however, running a macbook pro. Does it work on OSX?

Near Infinity works. Other things tend not to. Granted, you need BG installed to get anywhere with NI. (Or at least I couldn't do anything otherwise.)

You need to have the game installed - Infinity Explorer uses your chitin.key to recognise the game.

I have been searching for a Keldorn quote for ages. Something he said after the protagonist whines about how his life used to be easy and Keldorn replies something like, "Life was never easy there was merely a time when we lacked the sophistication to understand how messed up life truly is". I would love to find the original.
