I'm trying to use the bwp installer on the dungeons and dragons master collection anthology and it just keeps repeating the bg1 patch check.  I saw another thread that talked about editing the batch file for the bgt but I have no idea where in the file I'm supposed to put the new text if that fixes it or if it's an issue with having installed the game from the anthology collection

Ok so looks like this was a problem for anyone with the gog version and it carries over to the anthology. I dl'd another version mentioned in a thread and I get past the infinite patch check but it doesn't recognize that I have the bg2 fix pack in my bg II directory now. I even tried renaming it from to just bg2fixpack and that doesn't seem to do it. So one problem solved one more pops up.

Are you saying you have the bg2fixpack-v9.exe in BG2 directory? If so you need to run that to extract the actual installation files (setup-modname.exe + modname folder + eventually a setup-modname.tp2 file). It will automatically open a dos window, you can close it at any time.

I read the guide but after rereading I missed the part where you have to run the exes to extract first and then exit the installation. I just assumed having the exe was enough.
