Hi, this is my first posting, hoping to get some help from any one.
I am playing bg1/sword coast for first time.
Non of my npc's seem to ignore talk with charname.
The talk icon is does not highlight when trying to talk with my own crew.

Eh, not sure what you're saying exactly, but if you don't have mods installed (like for example, the BG1 NPC Project) that should be normal behaviour - your NPCs will not talk to you if you try talking to them.
