Wondering something about this mod - is the mod working correctly when it makes my fighters unable to use most weapons(even though the weapon only has str requirment in description)?

Depending on the mods you have installed, the item description could very well be wrong. Mods, as in plural, as it's likely that you have also installed a mod that removes item unusability flags and replaces them with stat requirements...

Revisions sounds interesting, but I opted not to install them, because they rename items which i'm relying on. Also, forging mods will still use the old name of the item, so you could be waiting forever to encounter a critical item, while in fact you have it in your possession, or even unwittingly sold it!

If you use one of the latest versions of the Item Upgrade mod(but not the Improved Anvil which is a piece of ...), you will find that you are able to use more than one type of the "critical" item to do the upgrade. Blame this on Lollorian. Erhm on another note, actually bless him for it.

mm, well i can't even equip a normal shortsword with "heavy armor" on my fighters..

I can't even equip a normal shortsword on my fighters when they have armor on.

And how could I go about fixing just the item equip problem without messing up my install ? :)

 

(maybe I should just start from scratch with BWP? (this is the compilation of stable mods right?), since my install is atleast 2 years old now...?)

I like the whole penalty for wearing armor, but not being able to use weapons because dexterity goes down is abit harsh :)

Should I run setup-b!tweak_lite.exe and uninstall everything.. or.. whould that ruin my install somehow? hmm :)

Or you could reverse this by just go to the <Gamefolder>/B!TWEAK_LITE/backup/3/ -folder and copy paste the .itm -files from there to the <Gamefolder>/override/ -folder.
