I am working on a manual install. I am following the layout in "BiG World v10.3.1 english.pdf". In Section 20.1 it gives instructions to copy the folder res_fixer and the files setup-res_fixer.exe and setup-res_fixer.tp2 to the main SoA directory.

The folder res_fixer and the file setup-res_fixer.tp2 are in the _resfixer_V1 folder. Where is the file setup-res_fixer.exe found?

An update on my success with the install see other posts). I have completed checking out the mods I selected from Section 1 through 19. The game starts very quickly without problems even though I have not biffed the mod files. I now suspect a I have a corrupt file somewhere.

it is in the gamefolder, and just a copy of weidu.exe with a new name, which you can create yourself in case you lost it.

I was a bit confused by your reply. But after thinking about what you wrote, I copied the BiG World files to my game. I ran BiG World Install.bat until it stated to install the mods, then killed it. At this point, setup-res_fixer.exe was in the BGII - SoA directory. Now I have a copy.

I still want to know which BiG World utility has the file. I have check all the BiG World utilities and cannot find it in anyone. (I may have missed it as I have had terrific headaches lately. Also, I saw my ophthalmologist and I need special glasses for computer work.) It may be that BiG World Install.bat creates it when it is needed.
