Ending C or D.
You choose. :)

Oh, and by the way, this is my first comment - thanks for all the report you've made. Really cool stuff!

Low hung brow, dazed look on your face..... It appears that you are correct, my friend. You are indeed a complete imbecile.

Looks like bunnygeddon is the front-runner:
Which ending do you want to go with?

A: Ultimate betrayal 6
B: Unleashing the Wild Horde 52
C: Day of the demons 5
D: Golden sacrifice 2
E: Golden Company assault 45
F: Dragonbreak 7

Interesting that people aren't choosing for the Dragonbreak, I thought that one would win. Still, Bunnygeddon will be fun to read through. :P

BWP20140531005.jpg

13 Nightal, 1370

I look at the corpses of my fallen minions around me as the sweet tweets of birds titillate my ear.

BWP20140531001.jpg

The birds are still around from one of my wild surges. Bird magic really is the hardest.

Also, I realize that the corpses of the bunnies make a skull.

oSMx8T7.jpg

Is that some sort of sign? Is my deadbeat father trying to say something?

Well, whatever. I go to the place where my now-dead brother fell. He left his sword.

BWP20140531002.jpg

Sword_of_Chaos_2.jpg

I give it a test, to see what it feels like in my hand.

BWP20140531003.jpg

I will carry this. It is mine by right.

In another pile of loot nearby is Nemmerle's Revenge, a Ring of Protection +3, a Robe of the Abyss, a crown that I can't identify (!!), and Semaj's Cloak. So this must have been Semaj.

Nemmerle_s_Revenge.jpg

Semaj_s_Cloak.jpg

For the first time in a very long time I take out some Glasses of Identification and give them a look-through. The crown turns out to be the Crown of the SHar'DuKha.

Crown_of_the_Shar_DuKha.jpg

I pack it all away, save for the cloak. I put that on. There will be time enough later to sort through all of this.

There is other loot scattered around the area, but its nothing special. I start to begin to feel that perhaps I really have defeated my brother.

Sarevok is really dead.

I leave the temple without looking back.

BWP20140531004.jpg

I half expect some dark monstrosity to jump out and accost me. But the ruins of this forgotten city remain silent.

BWP20140531006.jpg

When I get out of there, Winski is still around.

BWP20140531007.jpg

Winski.jpeg Just leave me here. I... I don't have any more drive left. Let the damn Fist come for me. I don't care anymore.

I have a bit of a scare trying to find my way back out of the maze.

BWP20140531008.jpg

But the doomguard and skeleton can't even hit me. And after I cast Haste, they can't keep up with me either.

Is there anything that can harm me in all of the Sword Coast now? I've just defeated the greatest threat that the entire region has faced. Alone. Why should I be afraid of anything else?

When I make it through the maze, Voleta is surprised to see me.

BWP20140531009.jpg

voleta_stiletto.jpg I'll be fine for now. The others will fix me up good soon enough, so just get out of here. You've causd enough trouble one way or another.

I go upstairs, and through the Thieves' Guild.

BWP20140531010.jpg

And then make my way into the predawn quiet of a sleeping Baldur's Gate.

BWP20140531011.jpg

Everyone in this city is asleep in their beds. They don't even know what I saved them from. They don't even know that their hero walks in their midst.

BWP20140531012.jpg

I don't know whether to be happy or sad at that. On the one hand, my notoriety has been a constant thorn in my side, what with bounty hunters on my trail and all. But on the other hand, I just saved the freakin' world!

I'm still thinking it over when I get to the center of the Elfsong Tavern.

BWP20140531013.jpg

Time to bring the Golden Company home!

BWP20140531014.jpg

Ok guys. I've got good news, and better news.

BWP20140531015.jpg

Good news is - false alarm, don't need you to fight, Sarevok's dead.

Better news is that its vacation time! The Golden Company as a whole is issued one month's paid leave! I'll drop anybody off who wants to be dropped off. Jovial Juggler, Friendly Arm, whatever you want!

There's cheers all around, and also incredulous stares. But hey, everybody lives, so no harm done!

BWP20140531016.jpg

I clear everybody out.

BWP20140531017.jpg

Then, I get back together with the Final Five.

BWP20140531021.jpg

wrtbm.jpg You bet! We'll nick ourselves a whole purse o' fun before the night is through!

That we will, Imoen dear, that we will.

BWP20140531022.jpg

a3M0h.jpg Straight to the point, I respect that. Let's go.

BWP20140531023.jpg

ywD7r.jpg A wise choice. Lead on.

BWP20140531024.jpg

1p4PW.jpg Oh! It is so nice to have one's strengths appreciated. (blush)

BWP20140531025.jpg

jLQZ5.jpg Then I shall do my best for you, though I am sure we both know that the worst is inevitable.

I teleport us all out of the pocket plane. I'm going to Belt to report the death of Sarevok, and they are going to be my honor guard.

After we get a good night's rest, of course.

Injbg.jpg

BWP20140531026.jpg

Late that morning...

jLQZ5.jpg Syvishtar, have you had any more nightmares recently?

BRKVQ.jpg Not that I remember, no.

jLQZ5.jpg It might be the blood of Tel'Qussir in your veins that protects you. In any case, I hope you will not experience these horrors again.

Me too Xan, me too. Now that Sarevok is dead, I'm sure life will be able to get back to normal.

We go out into the bright, warm light of day under a sky in which nobody wants to kill us. No one at all. It is amazing!

BWP20140531027.jpg

We make our way back to the Duchal Palace, sure in our step.

BWP20140531028.jpg

Once there, Belt rushes up to us.

BWP20140531030.jpg

belt2.jpg To think we praised him only hours ago... *ahem*

belt2.jpg The people have heard about Sarevok. They grew curious. The nobles in particular are asking questions. Dangerous ones. Like how you managed to kill a child of Bhaal.

belt2.jpg The Shadow Thieves leaked it, about the temple beneath their complex. I think it may have been an attempt to root you out of the town. They probably feel threatened by your presence here.

belt2.jpg As if the nobles were not enough of a problem, I have a larger issue that you may be able to help with.

BRKVQ.jpg What is it?

belt2.jpg Amn still plans to go to war with us. I have tried to send messages to the council in Athkatla but they don't seem to respond. I don't know if the problem is with my couriers or the council.

BRKVQ.jpg And you want me to do what?

belt2.jpg I am telling you this because I need someone who can get this critical job done. I want you to meet my contact and deliver this letter to him. If my couriers can't get there because of bandits or what have you, at least I know you will be able to defeat them and continue with this mission.

BRKVQ.jpg Athkatla? In Amn? That wll take some time to get there. Is there any way to speed up my trip?

belt2.jpg Yes, that leads me to my next topic. I have had my mages write up a spell for me to teleport you there. Unfortunately, I have never been to Athkatla, and teleports only work if you know the destination.

belt2.jpg I have been on several hunting trips just north of Athkatla. I know one area very well and can teleport you to that spot. I have told my contact and he should have people waiting there for you. They can escort you into the city.

BRKVQ.jpg I am confused. If you can teleport somone to meet with this contact, why don't you just send a courier? Why me?

belt2.jpg Two reasons actually. One, as I said before, the nobles here are fearful of you. Getting you out of town for a few days will give me time to calm their fears. The second reason is because my contact has heard of you. It seems you are the heroes of the Sword Coast. My contact thinks that the council would be much more willing to take my requests seriously if heroes like yourselves were supporting our cause. I have even notified some of your friends so they can meet you there. You will need to make it back from Amn on foot, so make sure you have ample supplies for the long trip.

Wait, some friends of mine? Who has he been talking to?

BWP20140531031.jpg

Well, I was looking forward to a vacation. Taking one in a larger city than Baldur's Gate sounds pretty fun. Maybe I can even catch a ship there to a far-away place, like Maztica!

BRKVQ.jpg Yes, I am ready.

belt2.jpg Good luck, and safe journeys.

Then he casts the spell, and I know blackness and disorientation.

BWP20140531035.jpg

Are... are teleport spells usually supposed to last this long?

BWP20140531035.jpg

What's... what's going on?

BWP20140531035.jpg

Why do I feel... so.... woozy...?

??

....

BWP20140531032.jpg

BWP20140531036.jpg

BWP20140531037.jpg

Gameplay note: And here we are, at the end of Baldur's Gate. We have just finished the less-popular, less-modded prequel to what is arguably the greatest RPG of all time. A big thanks to all of you who have made it this far. This is the end of...

Wow!

Oh btw: You know that rod of refuge thingie... you do know that it can be recovered a lttle later into BG2 right?

Now, i'm not saying that you should stash everything there (like a cheater), but i think that it could've easily been worked into the story that Syv put a few of his/her unique goodies in the chest in his/her boy/girl-room pocket plane.

I once played a character onto whom i projected a wand-fetish in order to feel less cheesy when i bought wands for all of the BG1-funds (hundreds of wand basicly, using them as currency) put them all in one bag of holding and stashed that in the pocket-room. Recovered the rod later on, and... profit!

While that might be overdoing it, i'm thinking about a few things, like those magey glove, that crown and a unique robe or two... why wouldn't Syv keep his/her best stuff by the bed in his/her own room?

At least the stuff not currently beeing worn.

Well... perhaps it might be a little to late for things like that (i should maybe have piped up earlier) and i guess that there's more then enough loot i BG2 to go around anyway, so it's not important... still: Unique stuff dammit!

Looking forward to several more years of enjoying the misadventures of Syvishtar(a)... Thank you, really!

At any time. :D It doesn't require anything specific or special to start but you will know when it has. It triggers while you are still in Athkatla. Unfortunately there's still a few small bugs in v2.8, so if you get any problems PM me.

I didn't have it installed previously, but apparently it is part of the standard tactics install in the latest version of the BWS. I'm happy about it. I wanted to put it in before but wasn't able to do it back when I installed BWP 10.2.1.
