Hi guys.
Many many moons ago I did a little Baldurs Gate modding - My mod was limited to increasing the HP/Exp rewards from all monster kills.  
However I am having a devil of a time getting the Big World mod installed.
All I'm attempting to install is the 'stardard' build.
BG1+ToTSC+Correct patch installed to C:\Games\BGI
SoA+ToB+Correct patch installed to C:\Games\BGII

Ive tried both the Big World Project 10.2 and the Big World setup 9.2

Best "progress" i can get (with BWS 9.2) is something along the lines of:

I know the GibberlingsIII download page was down recently, and it seems many of the links no longer work, but do work if I manually browse there?  *sigh*
BWP is just missing files and install errors all over the place.

What IS the best Big World install to try?
Any up to date step by step guides around?  Im getting terribly confused wandering the forums with all the different versions, revisions, and help posts dating back years.

Still not getting much progress.
I saw the thread on BWP 10.3 so i decided to give that a go.
It started up ok, but said i was missing the Big World Fixpack folder - so i found that and copied it to my SoA - ToB folder.
Then it said i was missing
BG2 FIxpack
Baldur's Gate Trilogy
TxtMusic
So I copied and installed those over too.

Then it said im missing all of the following (See Bottom).
Am i even doing the right thing... I dont know anymore.

BP_BGT_Worldmap is not present yet. BP_BGT_Worldmap is not needed for a minimal
installation. However for most of the quest mods this mod is mandatory.

That's the standard on how it goes... so you check the list of mods that you want to install ... that they are not on that list and then push C + Enter to continue if you are surely satisfied that all the mods you want to install are already in the game folder...

So yes, the mods need to be extracted to the game folder, unlike with the BiG World Setup that does all that automatically. But the BWS is outdated and damaged as it cannot be updated...

Am doing the big install now.
I also extracted most of the mods that BWS pulled down from the web - my SoA - ToB directory looks a right mess now

Everything Finally Installed!!!
And working too - created a BG1, BG2 and ToB start toons and they worked.

Only issue is my SoA - ToB folder.
Full of heaps of subfolders (approx 250+ folders alone!)
And thousands of addon files (214 .bam files, 40 .wav files.
Can I safely delete them all? They currently amount to 8.14Gb!

Eg folders like:
[BG1]Basilisk
[BG1]Tasloi
[BG2]Death Tyrant
[ID]+Elemental Earth IWD
[ID2]+Drider Male
Aasimar Female+
Belhifit
bg1npc
etc

Ah, that's nothing, I had 2 BWS compilations taking total of 60Gb's space, just to see if the WeiDU.exe worked... And I had 6 more that took about 50 GB's more...

Now, you might want to make a backup of the "to be deleted" files, putting them into a .rar archive is quite fast and then moving that archive to an external drive will keep the backups safe and you still have the additional work space you want.
There's also the BiG World Clean-Up.bat you can use... but I wouldn't use it if you don't want to make a complete re-setup and reinstall.

Waaaay Ahead of you for this one
My "data" drive is 2 2Tb drives in Raid 1.
Its got a pristine backup of the BG1+TotSC, another of SoA-ToB and a third of my BGT setup.

One Minor bug ive encountered - the TobEx: Throne of Bhaal Extender build 0.21.11.6 program that launches on startup, when closing BG it doesn't close properly - have to wait 30 sec for it to 'crash'. odd.

*sigh* she runs, but barely. Seems the freeze on exit is the least of my worries.
Game is pretty much broken, will crash to desktop playing BG1 if I look at the world map, or try to leave the starting area where Gorion Dies.

Might this be related to the fact:

BP_BGT_Worldmap is not present yet. BP_BGT_Worldmap is not needed for a minimal
installation. However for most of the quest mods this mod is mandatory.

Finally all running ok.
TYVM Jarno for all your assistance.

Wish i had the skill and time to re-create the BWP.
I would bring everything together into 1 big download, and have simple buttons a b c d for the various install types basic, standard, tactics etc.

What I am attempting to do is modify the Health of all .cre files by a certain X percentage, as well as exp gains and possibly AC/Thaco as well.

As there are over 7000 cre files this doesn't look like a fun project unless I can find a script file to open each .cre fle sequentially and made the modification then save to \override.

Hmmm yes it does, though mixmod only does HP/thaco/AC/saves, no exp modifications.
