Make sure you used the correct patches, that is the games end up being v1.3.5512 and v2.5.26498... and DO NOT install the games into the Program Files sub-folder in any of the current up to date Operation Systems.seems like i can not talk to anyone..clean install and bgt. patched up also. thanks for any idea's

Hello, I also got the same problem. Clean install of both games. Then BG2fixback, and then BG Trilogy, that how I installed it.
I also tried whit what was the only patches I found for BG2.
So no one wants to talk to me. Or rather, they often want talk to me, When i Reload sometimes they talk.
Where do I fint the corect patches. Whats the corect patch order. Do I have to patch BG1 AND BG2?

YES !Do I have to patch BG1 AND BG2?
Well, as you can no doubt read from the above, the end up versions need to be v1.3.5512 and v2.5.26498... so BG1+TotSC full install needs to be patched with the 5512 patch. Link. And the BGII game needs to be patched with the 26498 patch. Link.
