Can someone help me install BiG World Project?

If you go to the BWP Download Directory, you find all sorts of things with no useful (to me) descriptions of what to use where. I have tried to wade through the FAQ, but most of it seems over my head.
Let's start with the Setup. I assume that's the place to start to install this thing. PROBLEM IS, there are two versions of it available:
1) BiG World Setup v9.10
2) The BiG World Setup
Which one are you supposed to use?
Today I tried to install the "recommended" version using the second version, but what really tripped me up is that www.gibberlings3.net is down, and a bunch of mods were missing, including a critical one that I couldn't move forward without. So I dug around and found a mirror of the missing files, but some of them were at newer versions than the installer was expecting, and for whatever reason manually adding the install packages just didn't work - the setup always failed and quit.
Then there is:
1) BiG World Installpack v10.2.1
What is this for? Do I need to run it?
Then there is:
1) BiG World Fixpack v10.2.1
What is this for? Do I need to run it?
Long story short, I need a list of what packages I need to run, what versions, and in what order. I couldn't find this information anywhere. Thanks for your help!

List of all packages you need (you extract which mods you need and only run the BiG World Install.bat from the BWPInstallpack ) - Only the stuff in the first 2 sections (General & Corrections) are mandatory... everything else is optional (take care to only download stuff that you can understand though - lots of mods aren't in english for example)Long story short, I need a list of what packages I need to run, what versions, and in what order. You can find descriptions of every mod in the BWP in the BWPGuide
BWPInstallpack - just a script that installs any mod in your BGII folder in a certain order (and does other freaky stuff like moving files here and there to preserve compatibility and stuff )
BWPFixpack - has the latest fixes for a lot of mods that haven't been updated/authors have left

Sorry to hijack but I just have to say thanks for that link... I don't understand German but as I scrolled downward I found to my chagrin my poor attempt at an NPC and of course it is a broken link since teambg.eu is no more AND I had done more work on it locally to try and make it better...
It gave me a laugh to see that ^^

I jump in on this thread, to ask where I should extract the files. I suspects it is BGII - SoA, but ask to be sure. Don't want to go to the download-process again. You save the files somewhere else, but you extract them to the game directory... which is the "BGII - SoA" ...I jump in on this thread, to ask where I should extract the files. I suspects it is BGII - SoA, but ask to be sure. Don't want to go to the download-process again.
