sorry if this is the wrong forum, I'm new here, so please feel free to move it or redirect me.

getting to the point, I am looking to install BWP (Big world project) and a few mods for the first time (though i have messed around with TUTU and the override folder) and was wondering if anyone can be so kind as to direct me to, or give me, some information about where to find the latest version of BWP, any information about in what order to install mods, such as the wide screen mod which from what i hear might be worth while, or any general information that might be good to know for someone semi new.

Well, let's get this strait, the BWP is not a thing to be installed, the name means BiG World Project... which inclination that it's a Megamod Project that has different parts that integrate to make an install.
The closes thing to the "BWP" as a downloadable guide (English versio)... also in: german, russian, spanish.

And now that that's cleared up:

any information about in what order to install mods

The BiG World Projects tools, include the BWP Fixpack, and the BiG World Install pack, with all the mods that need to be extracted but not installed to the game folder.
You "start" the installation by starting the BiG World Install.bat when you have everything setup correctly... for that, there was a setup tool in here, but it's badly out of date....

Besides that, you might want to read this pinned topic, it's not directly BiG World FAQ, but quite close ... like:
