BGT Installation Problem

Hi Guys

iam trying to install BGT - without success.

I have the german verion of the game. Installed them all corresponding to the read me.

The Problem is:

This indicates that your BG1 installation which you are using for BGT has 22186 pieces of in-game text ("strings"). This is abnormal behavior. For an ordinary installation of Baldur's Gate 1 with Tales of the Sword Coast, that number should be 24124. The setup runs into the error as it is trying to find the non-existent string number 23804. I don't know why your installation of BG1 is missing some strings. Did you alter BG1 in any way?

Clean installation of both - BG1 + Addon and BG2 + Addon

Baldur's Gate without Tales of the Sword Coast only has 22186 texts indeed.

My debug file should look like this:

[F:/Program Files/Jeux/Baldur's Gate/Chitin.key] 159 BIFFs, 16694 resources
[F:/Program Files/Jeux/Baldur's Gate/dialog.tlk] 24124 string entries
[F:/Program Files/Jeux/Baldur's Gate/dialogF.tlk] 24124 string entries

Since you have the right amount of BIFF files and resources, it seems only the dialog.tlk and dialogF.tlk files are wrong. You can recover them from the TotSC CD, at least if you have a version with 6 CD or 1 DVD + 1 CD (I don't know other editions).
