Hi !
I had been a fan of Baldur's Gate and recently gotten to know about the Big World project, so replaying the game again with all the fan mods. Everything is great so far, however i am getting lockups on entering Nashkel. No error msg is given and I would exit to desktop on pressing the escape key. The lockup doesn't occur if I pause quickly after entering the area. However, it will hang once I unpause. I have tried searching the forums but there doesn't seem to be any similar problems reported. Would greatly appreciate any help...

I chose the "Standard" version during BWP install

Anyone can help ?
Heres a few things that I tried but still can't solve the issue
1) Entering Nashkel from different entrance points
2) Entering at different times
3) Dropping all party members on entering

I tried the ambient sound thing and it still crashed.

The source of the whole thing is the GOG version of the game... WE ARE NOT HERE TO RIGHT THE WRONG DOINGS OF ¤%&/()(/&%¤#"!#. Especially as the GOG version has made it so hard anyways...

Hmm I am confused...you mean the crash i am experiencing is due to me having the GOG version of the game ? Specifically the CD6 issue ?

Yeah... the CD6 has nothing to do with the problem you have as none of the game resources are related to it as the definition is wrong.

What I meant at the first post, was that hiding the Weidu.log in a uploaded file surely won't help you... as you can see it was downloaded just 4 times, then I showed what other problems you are sure to run into... not that they are related directly to the problem you are currently facing.

Been busy with work these days haha but er can anyone offer any solutions to the issue ?
If not i think I'll just try a reinstall and see if that works =/
