I am pretty sure that PS:T UI did not cause this problem but I was hoping for any advice on this. I purchased the game from GOG, added Biggs wide screen and this MOD. Game loads just fine, but in the opening scene when the floating skull approaches my new character the game crashes and gives this error:
Assertion failed in F:\Torment\source\chitin\chvidpal.cpp at line 1124
If I can't find a fix it looks like I will never be able to try this game out. Any help would be appreciated. Using windows 7 professional BTW.

Don't use the resolution mod, but first try to not use the default program files if you're using a post vista windows.

As if the problem is the Windows Vista, then installing the game to non Program Files folder will help with the file mirroring ...

As Jarno said, make sure you haven't installed the game in the Program files folder.
