Potential Bugs

Didn't know whether I should list these in the 3.01 thread since the current version is newer and that older thread is pretty dated. At any rate, I just tried the mod tonight and I came across these 2 potential bugs so far:

-The paralyze portion of the assassin's nerve poison ability doesn't work it seems. The paralyze effect will go off but the monster continues to chase me around. I've tried it several times and get the same problem everytime.

-The raging mind poison causes the game to crash

It looks like I missed a week of posts. Will fix (also re: poisons requiring Use Scrolls, did you report any other bugs?).

35% percent. Come on, I think half off is warranted...lol. It's all good. Most of the posts I saw were at least a few years old so I was starting to think that this mod was abandoned for the most part. The bugs I listed were the main ones I've come across so far. There's also a weapon sounds issue where you can't hear your weapon actually hit the target. Very odd. I just uninstalled the mod. I like the ideas in this mod alot but it seems pretty buggy overall from the short period that I used it.

The Poison/Use Scrolls thing is my fault, but I believe it's possible that there's some mod incompatibility behind the other two problems you listed. Most posts are a few years old because the last new features were released circa 2005, so 90% of the problems have been weeded out and there hasn't been a reason to post new posts :)

No worries my friend. Also when I said buggy, I meant only for the assassin. I hadn't tried any of the other class HLAs yet but am looking forward to doing so. I tested the nerve poison many times against my own teammates(I know, nice huh)and the held icon would appear on their picture but they were still able to move. Now I have no idea what the sound issue is coming from. A lot of this could be on my end as well. I don't use many mods but this is my setup and installation order:


-G3 Fix Pack
-Dungeon Be Gone
-Unfinished Business
-Widescreen Mod
-Rogue Rebalancing Mod
-G3 Tweaks
-Refinements

So I put refinements last which is the way I understand it from the readme. The only component I used from refinements is the HLAs which look fantastic though I did notice thieves no longer get 'use any item' which surprised me but the other tricks they get make up for it. I appreciate the feedback and for continuing to update this thing cause the mod is great. I guess I was used to aVENGERs RR forum which is still very active and busy with updates still being done regularly. Thanks again
