The readme says to install rogue rebalancing mod first followed by refinements. On the rogue rebalancing mod forum it aVENGER says this:

Refinements Mod note:

Since Rogue Rebalancing further expands the Bard and Thief HLA tables as of v4.0 a very specific install order is now required in order to achieve full compatibility with the Refinements mod. For best results you need to:


1) Install all of RR except for the "Thief High Level Ability revisions" and "Bard High Level Ability revisions" components
2) Install Refinements
3) Install RR's "Thief High Level Ability revisions" and "Bard High Level Ability revisions" components

So do I just install all of RRM followed by refinements or do I install these mods the way aVENGER suggests?

It totally depends which modification you wish to take priority. Say the two mods overwrite the same HLA, the mod installed last will always replace the first one. Thus why the aVENGER suggestion. As he wants his changes to take that priority ...

Thanks. I went ahead and tried it his way just for kicks and basically the only difference I see is that you get RR crippling strike as opposed to Refinements cripple ability. The main reason I was asking was I initially tried the other way and had a sound issue where you couldn't hear your attacks against an enemy. You would swing your sword or whatever and it just sounded like hitting air except you still did damage. Very odd so I tried it aVENGER's way and fixed the problem though I prefer refinements version of cripple.
